Declining an invitation because you’re scared of BYU and Pop Tarts is even more cowardly than forfeiting

So you're saying ND was scared of BYU and then scheduled a regular season game with them?

So scared of BYU we scheduled them the very next year. Solid reasoning there, brother

That doesn't fit the narrative.

Can’t go back in time and schedule a game with the 2025 BYU Cougars

That's not why they declined. They declined because non playoff bowls have no meaning anymore. Everyone either knows this or is blinded by ND hate to admit it.

If saying that is what you need to tell yourself to feel better, then sure

Its true though? ND has won non playoff bowls recently and it was just like whatever

Sun Bowl, which they won a few years back used to mean something. It just doesn't anymore.

We won playoff bowl games and the bigger story was the next game not the win.
