If you want to know what it’s like to have poor coaching derail a season, this Maryland team is it. I scoff at people who want guys like Ryan Day or Kalen DeBoer fired when they have like two losses. This Maryland is what it’s truly like to be let down in all phases of the game by a shit head coach. Can’t stop committing penalties, can’t execute in critical moments, poor playcalling. This program is effectively a disaster and I don’t see how anyone in the country would want to come here and fix it, meaning we’re probably getting a Randy Edsall 2.0 hire

A lot of fans need to realize that quite often the fall down is a lot further than what you can gain by grabbing a new coach.
Sometimes a coach isn't Nick Saban or Curt Cignetti or Tom Osborne, but you're far more likely to get another Scott Frost than one of them!

Also, what is the track record for picking a G6 head coach in their first few years? Everyone is going to point to Cignetti or Chesney, but I feel like most of the time it's going to look more like Barry Odom and Purdue than Cignetti or Chesney.

Have you watched our team? Genuinely? The coaches have it to where there is no drive, discipline, coordination, the play calls suck, the game time adjustments dont exist, the defense looks lost. They cant tackle, angle of pursuit is bad, gashed repeatedly by the same stuff. The receivers are rarely open and when they are they are either over thrown or drop the pass, the QB is scared for his life and makes poor decisions. The run game is not there. I could go on forever. I honestly cannot think of 1 facet of this team that is good besides the raw potential and promise these players have. We arent looking for a Saban or Cignetti. Hell, we arent even looking for a win the B1G coach. We are looking for a coach that can win and if they lose, at least we can watch the game and enjoy it. Make it so the guys show life.

I wouldn't say old heads lol. More like people who watch college football regularly. Firing a coach in the middle of the season is just dumb. If the team hasnt giving up on a coach just let the play it out so you can see who worth keeping. You learn nothing by punting away a season because want to fire someone to "make a point." The rest of the season would be dudes phoning it in while tring to half ass learn a new system.
If Greg can put together an argument to save his job that's a good thing for the team. It means things are heading in the right direction. If he cant then it's time to say goodbye.

Man, homecoming crowd was hyped and they had a 10
point lead at the half. Then the 3rd quarter was abysmal and drove the fans to the parking lots to drink. Defense was turbo ass.
With that said, weather turned out decent and family had a nice weekend. Go Terps today and 4 life
