Analysis Midweek thread sponsored by aerial silks!
I had my first aerial silks class today! I am VERY thankful that I've been sometimes working out this year, because my goodness, my arms were noodles by the end of it
Then I dropped off some voting info door to door at 2 apartment complexes (one was 2nd floor only), so I am wiped
How are yall? How's your week been? Any plans for the weekend?

that sounds terrifying and amazing at the same time. i've seen videos and the amount of upper body strength involved is unreal, props for trying it out. my week's been quiet, mostly just trying to keep my plants alive and reading a book that's been sitting on my shelf since january.

Thanks! It's something I've been wanting to do for a long time, so I'm glad I put myself out there
Congrats on reading that book, it's always nice to pick a book back up

Been a rough week. Super exhausted, 3 day weekend was more exhausting than relaxing.
Sometimes I feel like I have it all under control and there are times like now I have so little under control.

That's always such a bummer when something that should be relaxing... Isn't

NYC Marathon is in three Sundays from now (11/1). I feel so underprepared with my longest run this “training block” being a little over 10km. It does help, however, that a good friend of mine is my vision guide for the marathon and we’re taking it at super relaxed paces (12-15min/mi) and having fun along the way!
I’ll be much happier after the marathon, though!

Dang, good luck with the marathon!
It's super nice that you and your friend are on the same page

I’m grateful for that friend too! He and his partner have been nothing but kind over the years, and he really wanted to run the marathon (his partner’s running her first or second NYCM) and having it be a group run that day just makes it even better!

So back in December I booked a trip to Japan and I leave in 14 days. I have 90 miles in need to crush before I leave.
I also have to do early voting next week because we have a really important election where I live
In cat news, my cat in the middle of the night decided that he needed to sneak up on the kitchen counter and knock over a bottle of Olive Oil. That was a fun surprise to walk in on at 4am in the morning
