Question Withdrawal reason

I’m dropping a class because I’ve recently changed my major. Now I don’t need the class and had a C currently so I thought it would be good to drop since it’ll do more harm than good if I keep it. I already put the request in and let them know the reason was because of major changes. Do you think the people on the committee will accept it? Im scared 😭😭

For the most part they're pretty lenient. Your reason is more than enough especially when you don't need the class any more. There's people that have withdrawn for lesser reasons, myself included and it's gotten approved

What "lesser" reasons do they still usually approve?

What reason did you put?

It depends on your major. Some departments are strict and doing badly is usually not allowed. But a major change is a good reason and say that dropping it will let you focus on your other classes.
