Fall is here 🍂
Some photos from desolation wilderness this weekend! Third photo is from Fontanillis lake looking down the valley to emerald bay.

Desolation in the fall is the best, no mosquitoes and way fewer people. Did you get any color around Fontanillis yet? Last time I was up there that view down to Emerald Bay had me just standing there way too long.

Desolation is amazing in pretty much any season. I miss living in Reno and having that so close.

So beautiful! What did you use to take those pictures? I guess it's not just smartphone camera. I wonder if iphone's camera can do something like this.

Fall is my favorite season because of all the leaves changing, especially when the sun hits them. It’s really pretty.

As beautiful as this is, it gives me anxiety because it looks like somewhere that a big azz bear would be sauntering through and possibly see me as a tasty snack

Such a calm and beautiful spot... Fall is my favorite season for backpacking. Makes me want to pack my bag and go camping.
