Edit: I realize now there is no Disc Edition PS5 pro, my mistake.

Scored a PS5 Pro tonight with a controller and all original accessories for $1100 and sold my used PS5 Launch edition for 650. Some decent people still out there.

I recently sold my gaming PC for some personal reasons, and I’m planning to switch to a PS5 Slim.

My main games will be Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare 4. I’ve heard that Call of Duty supports keyboard and mouse on PS5, which is great because I’m used to playing FPS games that way.

Before I make the switch, I’d really appreciate some honest feedback from people who actually play on PS5 using a keyboard and mouse.

\- How noticeable is the input delay compared to PC?

\- Does aiming and movement feel smooth, or is there a significant delay?

\- How is the overall Warzone experience on PS5 Slim?

\- Is it worth switching from PC to PS5 if I mainly play with keyboard and mouse?

I know it won’t be exactly the same as playing on PC, but I want to know whether the difference is manageable or frustrating.

Please share your honest experience, both positive and negative. I’d rather know what to expect before making the switch.

Is anyone seeing any store stock at any BC interior retailers? Best Buy, Staples, Walmart etc? I keep checking websites, but I'm wondering if its worth it just walking in and asking periodically.

I found this PS5 Pro on Facebook Marketplace for $800. I asked the seller if it’s still available, but is there a way to check if it’s legit? I’m kind of getting a sketchy feeling about it.

They said they stopped taking back orders now, and that there is 109 pending orders but I’m not sure if that company wide or store wide.

Finally after months of searching got my ps5 pro. Calgary Alberta

i struggled for weeks to find a ps5 pro (edit : this post is specifically for ps5 pro, not the regular ps5 which you can find easily)
then i had claude code write a script that polls best buy canada for in-store pickup availability of ps5 pros, and plays a sound on my computer whenever it finds one.
the script ran all day on my computer and i actually got 5-10 notifications. it checks every store in quebec, where i live. most of the time, the stores were too far away, or i wasn't quick enough, but within 24 hours, i was finally able to secure a ps5 pro.

from my experience, stock at best buy litterally stays available for 20 seconds before selling out. you have to step up your game!

best buy provides no-auth endpoints for listing stores and checking availability.
just ask your favorite coding assistant to make one for you.

Never had a console ever in my life, but always wanted to get one.
Now that I’m probably getting a 75” 120hz Tv in some time, I wanted to finally get one.

Very casual gaming (couple hours a week after work, if that) and not really a fan of GTA franchise, so probably not even going to play GTA6.

Pricing on new PS5 and PS5 pro is quite high. I can afford it, but looks like a foolish expense, considering I’d still need to get the games.

I tried looking for a used PS5/slim on marketplace but it is littered with some pretty sketchy listings. (At least in KW region)

I’d want to play some online games like COD,OW, and couple offline ones RDD2, god of war, and witcher 3.

Do I just get a used PS4 pro 1Tb instead? I can probably get one for under 200.

Or do I need to pull the trigger on a ps5 regular / slim? Seems like Costco has one for 839 with 2 controllers.

I’m giving myself another 3 weeks to grab one. Otherwise I’ll just get a brand new slim.

On marketplace:
- at 500$, as soon as you send message, people delete their ad when they realize they priced it lower than others.
- At 600-650, sellers don’t even bother responding to messages
- at 700-750, I’m better off buying a brand new one and get the peace of mind + 1 year warranty from Sony.
