DD Sekur’s Multilingual Growth Bet: Why a Few Hundred Customers Could Matter

Thumbnail

Sekur’s international expansion is entering a more concrete phase.

Portuguese arrived on September 22. French followed on October 13. Both launches prepare the company for sales abroad. [1][2]

The investment angle starts with scale. At the October 13 reference quote of US$0.0247, Sekur’s indicated equity value is approximately US$6.4 million. That calculation uses the 259.6 million shares reported at June 30. [3][4]

At that size, hundreds of premium subscriptions could materially change the revenue base. Successful contracts could give investors a different business to value.

  • Two new sales routes: Portuguese supports Angola and Mozambique; French supports the DRC, Switzerland, and other francophone markets.
  • A small customer count can matter: 500 premium SekurOne subscriptions at management’s announced price would generate US$1.8 million annually.
  • The upside depends on execution: Our 5× revenue illustration gives 1,000 subscriptions about 108% potential upside with 350 million shares.

Two Launches, Two Sales Routes

The September 22 release introduced Sekur.com in Portuguese, following the earlier Spanish addition.

Sekur also described translating its workflows and onboarding for upcoming partners. That matters when customers must adopt unfamiliar communications software.

Angola is the immediate focus. Management said it expected an exclusive partnership in the coming weeks.

Mozambique and other Portuguese-speaking markets provide additional expansion possibilities. The release announced preparation for these markets, without assigning revenue to them. [1]

The October 13 release added French, the third additional language after Spanish and Portuguese.

This announcement provides a clearer timetable. Sekur says it already has a team in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It expects sales there to begin in Q1 2027.

Its intended customers include government, defense, mining, and commodity organizations.

Switzerland offers another route. The release highlights Geneva’s commodity traders, family offices, and wealth managers. It also names Morocco, Algeria, and Côte d’Ivoire as potential francophone markets. [2]

These groups handle confidential negotiations, financial information, and operational communications. My investment inference is that these needs could support premium subscriptions.

French could help the same sales effort reach several customer groups. Portuguese could support local distribution in Angola.

Neither release discloses a signed customer order, contract value, or paid license count. The commercial opportunity remains prospective. [1][2]

A Small Revenue Base Makes New Sales Meaningful

Sekur’s first-half numbers show why international traction could matter.

Revenue reached C$185,828, against C$251,609 a year earlier. That represents a 26.1% decline.

The United States contributed C$182,363. The rest of the world contributed just C$3,465.

In other words, approximately 98.1% of reported revenue came from the United States. International sales represented only 1.9%. [3]

The new languages address a largely undeveloped revenue stream. Even modest overseas sales could change that geographic mix.

However, the company’s transition still needs to produce growth. A translated website supports distribution; investors eventually need invoices and collections.

Sekur’s September shareholder letter explains the intended shift toward government, defense, intelligence, and executive customers. It also acknowledges falling revenue during the transition from legacy accounts. [5]

The opportunity becomes more interesting when premium pricing enters the calculation.

The Subscription Math Behind the Opportunity

Management’s September letter announced a US$300 monthly commercial price for SekurOne.

At that price, one subscription represents US$3,600 in annualized gross revenue. [5]

The arithmetic scales quickly:

  • 200 subscriptions: US$60,000 monthly, or US$720,000 annually.
  • 500 subscriptions: US$150,000 monthly, or US$1.8 million annually.
  • 1,000 subscriptions: US$300,000 monthly, or US$3.6 million annually.
  • 2,000 subscriptions: US$600,000 monthly, or US$7.2 million annually.

These calculations assume paying subscribers remain at the full monthly price for twelve months. They exclude existing revenue.

They also represent premium SekurOne subscriptions. Other products, distributor terms, and bulk agreements could produce different revenue per license.

Management estimated that approximately 200 SekurOne subscribers could bring the company to profitability. That is management’s estimate, rather than a demonstrated break-even result. [5]

For investors, the practical implication is straightforward. Sekur could grow materially without needing a mass-market customer base.

A department, executive group, or several smaller deployments could contribute meaningful license volumes. Whether Sekur can win those buyers remains the central execution question.

What Successful Execution Could Mean Per Share

The following illustration applies 5× annualized subscription revenue directly to equity value. This is our chosen modeling assumption.

It is not a peer-derived valuation, analyst target, or management forecast. No probability or completion date is assigned.

The first price column uses 259.6 million shares, from Sekur’s June filing. The second assumes 350 million shares. [3]

That larger count is a hypothetical dilution case, roughly 35% above the filing figure. It is not the current fully diluted count.

Against the US$0.0247 reference quote, the larger-share-count scenarios imply approximately 4%, 108%, and 316% upside, respectively. [4] The 1,000-subscription example would imply US$18 million of equity value. The 2,000-subscription example would imply US$36 million.

Those outcomes require both recurring sales and the assumed valuation multiple.

The multiple matters sharply. At 2× revenue, 1,000 subscriptions and 350 million shares imply approximately US$0.0206, below the reference quote.

These are sensitivity calculations. They exclude financing proceeds and balance-sheet adjustments, and assume the modeled revenue belongs to Sekur.

The releases establish potential sales routes. Future commercial results determine which valuation assumptions investors might accept.

The Milestones That Could Strengthen the Case

The next useful announcement would provide commercial terms.

For Angola, that means an executed partnership followed by paid deployments. For the DRC, it means evidence supporting the Q1 2027 sales timetable.

License counts, realized pricing, contract duration, and cash collection would make the opportunity measurable. Renewals would show whether early revenue can persist.

Funding also affects the value shareholders retain.

At June 30, Sekur reported C$1.53 million in cash and equivalents. First-half operating cash outflow was C$1.23 million. Its net loss reached C$2.18 million. [3]

Management’s September letter described a planned financing of up to US$1.4 million, expected to close before mid-December. It had not described completed proceeds. [5]

That makes sales conversion and financing terms equally relevant to the per-share outcome.

Sekur’s language launches give its international strategy practical infrastructure and a stated DRC sales window.

For a company with such a small revenue base, a few hundred premium customers could change the numbers substantially. Reaching thousands could support a much larger business.

The speculative upside sits in that progression: local sales capability, paid licenses, recurring revenue, and eventually a valuation supported by results.

Disclosure: The author has previously worked with Sekur’s CEO. Scenarios are illustrative and are not price targets.

Sources and Calculation Notes

  • [1] Portuguese launch — 22 September 2026
  • [2] French launch — 13 October 2026
  • [3] Interim financial statements — six months ended 30 June 2026
  • [4] SWISF reference quote — 13 October 2026, 3:29 p.m. EDT
  • [5] CEO shareholder letter — 1 September 2026

Share reference: US$0.0247 × 259,627,079 shares = US$6.41 million. The June filing count is used because the CSE page displays a conflicting 252,907,652 figure. The 350 million share count is an assumption.

Scenario revenue = subscriptions × US$300 × 12. Equity value = scenario revenue × 5. Per-share value = equity value ÷ assumed shares. Upside uses unrounded model prices versus US$0.0247.

Financial statements are unaudited and in Canadian dollars. Pricing and modeled valuations are in U.S. dollars. Models exclude existing revenue, financing proceeds, and balance-sheet adjustments; they assume full-price paying users and gross revenue attributable to Sekur.

General Discussion My Copper List From Safer Names to Bigger Bets

I’m looking across different stages, from established producers to earlier names with more discovery-driven upside.

$TGB
A more established copper name. I’m watching whether Gibraltar and Florence can deliver steady production while keeping costs under control.

$CS
The key for me is meeting production guidance without spending moving too far in the wrong direction.

$HBM
Probably the more balanced name here. I’m watching how the recent acquisition fits into the business and whether cash flow can support the larger growth pipeline.

$TMQ
This one comes down to continued progress on permitting and development. Each major step makes the project easier for investors to value.

$CQX
This is the early-stage upside name on my list. Rip is the main near-term test, while Stars and Kitimat give the company several opportunities to deliver. Strong widths, useful grades and continuity across multiple holes would make this one much harder to overlook.

Which one are you already holding, and which one is still on your watchlist?

General Discussion Can the Next CPI Report Shake Up BoC Odds?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Just days before Canada's October 19 CPI release, the Bank of Canada rate outlook is looking interesting. As of October 15, CORRA futures-implied probabilities show a 70% chance of holding at 2.25%, a 30% chance of hiking to 2.50%, and a 0% chance of a cut ahead of the October 28 decision.

The market seems comfortable betting on a hold for now, but that 30% hike probability leaves room for a surprise. With CPI just around the corner, one inflation reading may change the conversation heading into October 28 and potentially influence expectations for December as well. A hotter-than-expected reading may keep tightening risks alive, while softer inflation may strengthen the case for holding rates steady.

The market has made its prediction. Now it's inflation's turn to weigh in.

Can the next CPI report influence October's rate decision or reshape market expectations for December?

General Discussion Sekur Private Data Launches Sekur.com in French in Preparation for Sales in the Democratic Republic of the Congo

French will facilitate sales in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and other French-speaking countries in Europe and Africa, such as Switzerland, Morocco, Algeria, and CĂ´te d'Ivoire

MIAMI, FL / ACCESS Newswire / October 13, 2026 / Sekur Private Data, Inc., a Miami-based Swiss-hosted cybersecurity, private communications, and defense communications company serving enterprise, government, and defense clients, and a wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of Sekur Private Data (OTCQB:SWISF)(CSE:SKUR)(FRA:GDT0) ("Sekur" or the "Company"), today announced that it has launched its Sekur.com website in French, its third additional language after Spanish and Portuguese, the latter launched last month in preparation for Angola and other Portuguese-speaking countries, with additional languages planned, in preparation for sales in the Democratic Republic of the Congo ("DRC") and Switzerland.

As part of its Africa and International expansion, Sekur has begun translating its website, workflows, and onboarding into the local languages of its upcoming partners. French is the official language of the DRC, the largest French-speaking country in the world by population, where Sekur already has a team on the ground and expects to begin sales in the first quarter of 2027. The French-language site can be viewed at https://sekur.com/fr.

"We are very pleased to be expanding Sekur internationally and to make our solutions available in multiple languages," said Alain Ghiai, Founder and CEO of Sekur Private Data. "French is the third additional language we have added, following Spanish and Portuguese, and it allows us to serve clients and partners in the DRC and across French-speaking Europe and Africa in their own language."

"Localization is not a cosmetic exercise for us. Our website, onboarding, and workflows need to work in the language our partners operate in every day. That is what makes an international expansion real, and it is how we intend to approach each new market we enter."

The Democratic Republic of the Congo: A Critical Minerals Hub Facing Security Challenges

The DRC is one of the world's most important commodity hubs. It produces around 70% of the world's cobalt, is one of the largest copper producers in the world, and holds significant reserves of other critical minerals, including coltan, lithium, and gold, that are essential to electric vehicles, electronics, and the global energy transition. Mining companies, commodity traders, financial institutions, and government agencies operating in and around the DRC handle highly sensitive information on production, exports, contracts, and pricing every day.

At the same time, certain regions of the country, particularly the eastern provinces of North Kivu and South Kivu, continue to face armed conflict and instability. In this environment, communications that can be intercepted, tracked, or disrupted put personnel, operations, and confidential business information at risk. Government agencies, defense and security forces, humanitarian organizations, and companies with operations in the field need secure communications that protect their identity, their location, and their information.

Sekur's solutions, including SekurOne, SekurMail, SekurMessenger, and SekurVPN, are designed for exactly these environments. They operate independently of conventional telecom infrastructure, do not location-track their users, and require no phone number, helping protect people and sensitive information in contested areas. With its team already on the ground and its French-language site now live, Sekur is positioned to serve government, defense, mining, and commodity clients across the DRC in their own language.

Switzerland: A Commodity Trading Hub and a High-Value Cyber Target

Switzerland is one of the world's leading commodity trading hubs, and Geneva in particular is home to some of the biggest commodity trading companies in the world. These firms handle highly sensitive information every day, including pricing, cargo and shipping data, counterparty negotiations, and trade financing arrangements. For these companies, secure communications such as Sekur are essential to protecting confidential corporate information from competitors, criminals, and state-sponsored actors.

Switzerland is also home to some of the wealthiest individuals in the world, as well as the family offices and wealth management firms that serve them. Their communications carry information about assets, investments, transactions, and personal security that is highly valuable to criminals. Sekur offers these individuals and their advisors protection with SekurOne, its fully encrypted voice/video, email, messaging, and VPN platform. With no phone number required and Call-by-Invite access only, SekurOne keeps private conversations private and guards against interception, tracking, and Pegasus-style malware.

Switzerland has recently been a target of hackers, and commodity trading companies, family offices, wealth management firms, and other high-value organizations remain prime targets. In October 2025, Swiss federal authorities reported that the Akira ransomware group alone had attacked around 200 companies in Switzerland, causing damage of several million Swiss francs, as reported by Swissinfo. According to the authorities, attackers typically gain access through outdated systems and remote access connections, such as VPNs, that lack two-factor authentication.

Sekur's Swiss-hosted solutions, built on proprietary architecture with no reliance on Big Tech, are designed to close these gaps. With its new French-language site, Sekur can now serve Geneva's commodity trading, family office, and wealth management communities, and the broader French-speaking business community in Switzerland, in their own language.

Sekur Core Communications Solutions

Sekur delivers secure communications that work within and beyond the Sekur network, operating independently of conventional telecom infrastructure to reduce exposure to interception, SIGINT collection, traffic analysis, metadata exploitation, and hostile surveillance in contested environments. No Sekur solution data-mines or location-tracks its users.

All solutions are built on proprietary architecture with zero reliance on Big Tech, meeting the privacy, security, and OPSEC requirements of intelligence agencies, defense and federal organizations, military commands, diplomatic missions, government agencies, executives, and professionals handling CUI and other sensitive, mission-critical information. Deployments are supported by on-premises infrastructure options for full data sovereignty, mission assurance, and sole control over keys and data.

SekurOne - Encrypted Voice/Video, Email, Messaging, and VPN

A fully encrypted communications platform engineered on proprietary HeliX data transfer architecture, purpose-built to defeat telecom network tracing, resist Pegasus-style malware intrusion, and support CUI handling requirements. SekurOne is designed for defense and federal officials, military commanders, government leaders, and executives conducting confidential, operational, or sensitive conversations where standard carrier-based voice and video platforms present unacceptable interception and exploitation risk.

Call-by-Invite capability via SMS or SekurSend email ensures controlled access and eliminates unsolicited contact. Each user is assigned a unique Sekur ID for identity management, with no phone number required - preserving user privacy across all voice and video communications.

SekurMail - Secure Business and Executive Email

An enterprise- and government-grade encrypted email platform designed for defense and federal agencies, military commands, senior government officials, C-suite executives, and organizations handling confidential and operationally sensitive communications, including CUI correspondence. Built on proprietary architecture with zero Big Tech dependencies and no metadata tracking, SekurMail keeps sensitive communications private between sender and recipient.

Key capabilities include SekurSend/SekurReply for secure delivery to non-Sekur recipients without exposing sender identity or message content; full message delivery control and audit capability; encrypted file transfer; custom domain support for organizational integration; and active protection against phishing, social engineering, and Business Email Compromise (BEC) attacks targeting corporate and administrative networks.

SekurMessenger - Secure Team Messaging and Collaboration

A secure messaging platform providing end-to-end encrypted text, file transfer, voice messages, and collaboration capabilities for defense, military, government, and executive teams coordinating operational and mission-sensitive information, including CUI material. Features include self-destructing messages, encrypted file transfers, and compliance-grade archiving for recordkeeping and audit requirements.

Cross-network secure communications with non-Sekur users are supported via Chat-by-Invite, enabling secure coordination with coalition partners, external agencies, and field elements without compromising the network. Each user is assigned a unique Sekur ID for identity verification and contact authentication, with no phone number required.

SekurVPN - Enterprise Network Security and Identity Protection

An enterprise-grade Virtual Private Network leveraging proprietary HeliX encryption technology, engineered to provide secure internet access, identity obfuscation, and traffic protection for defense organizations, military and federal personnel, government agencies, and executives operating across remote, traveling, deployed, forward, or untrusted network environments.

SekurVPN maintains zero data logging, ensuring no record of user activity exists that could be exposed through legal process, network compromise, or third-party collection. It is built for defense, government, and executive use cases - including protection of traffic associated with CUI and operationally sensitive workflows - where standard commercial VPN solutions present unacceptable privacy and security risk.

SekurRelay - Executive-Level Secure Email Integration

An enterprise-grade secure email relay solution enabling domain splitting, which allows organizations to establish secure communications at the executive, board, or senior staff level without requiring full organizational migration or infrastructure overhaul.

SekurRelay removes one of the most significant barriers to large-scale defense, government, and enterprise deployment, enabling phased adoption that protects command leadership, flag officers, and the highest-value personnel and communications immediately while broader organizational rollout proceeds. It is designed for defense and government organizations, regulated industries, and enterprises requiring rapid, low-friction elevation of communications security at the command and executive tier, including environments handling CUI communications.

About Sekur Private Data
Sekur Private Data is a Swiss-hosted cybersecurity, defense communications, and privacy solutions provider, offering a secure suite of tools to protect governments, defense and federal agencies, businesses, and individuals from unauthorized access and cyber threats. With capabilities such as SekurOne, SekurMail, SekurMessenger, and SekurVPN, Sekur provides a reliable and secure means of digital communication and data storage for Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), classified-adjacent and civilian communications use, grounded in Swiss privacy standards with on-premises infrastructure for government agencies, allowing for data sovereignty. Catalyst 🚀🌝 MAX Power Interview (MAXX. CN)

The following interview is paid advertising, but it is extremely revealing. It answers geological questions, future industrial questions, and gives a rough timeline of what will be happening with Max Power's drill program. As a side note, the stock is in a healthy correction after a massive run this summer. The correction slammed into a trend line in the weekly timeframe, and has bounced hard. News from Lawson 5, the most recent test well, is expected any day. If they hit Hydrogen and Helium there, then they have proven that their discovery covers a vast area. Next will come testing, and "if" that gives positive results, all bets are off as to where the price may go. Personally, I would expect a buyout at multiples the current price. That possibility is even mentioned during the interview.

question?! Can anybody shed light on this junior miner? It has been my lottery ticket, but havent yet cashed

I have been investing in Giga Metals for years. I like the team; they have a world-class nickel asset (Turnagain) in BC.

Now, i've been buying the dip for years now sicne it's valuation has been dropping consistently (basically because the nickel market has been dead for years).

Lately, they have focused on prospecting for copper, and yesterday, they finally announced promising (but not yet conclusive) results. Press release:
https://gigametals.com/stage-2-geophysical-program-identifies-multiple-exploration-targets-in-attic-zone-at-giga-metals-turnagain-project/

Does anybody have an idea on whetehr i keep on going or just dump the stock? is this release significant?

Thanks in advance, I truly appreciate your comments since this stock takes a decent % of my portfolio.

General Discussion Copper Is at Record Highs….Which Canadian Stock Has the Most Upside?

Front-month COMEX copper settled at a record US$6.703/lb on August 5, while LME copper traded above US$14,000 per tonne. These are separate markets, but both show how strongly copper has moved.

China’s refined-copper imports reached a nine-month high in June. Shanghai copper inventories had also fallen more than 80% from their mid-March level, while available LME stocks were declining.

The longer-term supply picture remains supportive. The IEA estimates that announced projects may still leave copper supply 25% below projected requirements in 2035. It also says new copper projects take around 17 years from discovery to production on average.

Canada clearly has projects to work with:

  • Nearly 140 mining projects are planned or proposed between 2024 and 2034, representing C$117.1 billion.
  • Around half involve critical minerals, representing C$72.4 billion in potential investment.
  • Copper remains one of Canada’s six priority critical minerals.

Canadian copper stocks also offer very different stages of exposure:

  • $HBM operates the Copper Mountain mine in British Columbia and the Snow Lake operations in Manitoba.
  • $TKO, now named Trekor Metals, expects Gibraltar to produce 110–115 million pounds of copper in 2026. The company confirmed that guidance again with its August 5 quarterly results.
  • $WRN is advancing the Casino copper-gold project in Yukon, backed by a 2022 feasibility study. The project remains in environmental assessment and permitting, with necessary licences still outstanding.
  • $CQX offers earlier-stage exposure through its Kitimat copper-gold project. After its June expansion, the property covers 6,801.41 hectares and is year-round road accessible, within 10 km of tidewater, 1.5 km of rail and 6 km of high-voltage transmission lines.

Historical drilling at Kitimat reported intervals including 117.07 metres grading 0.54% copper and 1.03 g/t gold, and 103.65 metres grading 0.55% copper and 1.00 g/t gold. These are historical results, and further exploration is still needed to establish the project’s current scale and economic potential.

Record copper prices may improve sentiment and project economics, but permits, financing, infrastructure and new exploration results will still separate the projects that advance from those that remain on paper.

At current copper prices, would you choose a producer like $HBM or $TKO, an advanced developer like $WRN, or the high-upside exploration exposure in $CQX, which offers significant leverage to discovery success and district-scale potential?

Not financial advice. This is my own research and opinion.

General Discussion What do you guys actually look for in a small-cap cybersecurity company?

I’ve been spending more time on the sector lately because cybersecurity and data privacy are becoming bigger priorities for both businesses and governments.

Most of the attention still goes to the large established names, but I’ve been looking further down the market-cap range where companies are earlier in their growth cycle.

For people who follow this space closely, what usually makes you take a smaller cybersecurity company seriously recurring revenue, government contracts, user growth, partnerships, or something else?

DD Copper Quest what’s already in place and what’s still developing

Been digging through the recent updates, and this is how I’m mapping out $CQX heading into Q4.

Already in place

  • Stars: 20 km² 3D IP survey completed across the main property, including the Tana Zone and its extensions
  • Rip: Phase 2 drilling finished — 1,654 m across five holes
  • Kitimat: exploration permit secured
  • Funding: C$825K private placement closed at C$0.08 per unit, with C$0.13 warrants

Next up

  • Stars: final IP report and interpretation
  • Rip: resolution of the ArcWest option discussions before the latest drill samples move into preparation and assaying
  • Kitimat: follow-up exploration around Jeannette and the larger interpreted target

What could add another layer

General Discussion Copper, Uranium or Gold?

I’ve been comparing these three lately because they all look interesting over the long term, just for completely different reasons.

Copper feels like the backbone trade.
Grids, EVs, data centres, renewables and construction all pull on the same metal. The IEA expects copper demand to add about 7 million tonnes by 2040, while its current project pipeline still points to a roughly 25% projected gap between mine supply and primary supply requirements in 2035.

Uranium feels more like a capacity race.
Global reactor requirements are estimated at about 68,920 tU in 2025 and rise to just over 150,000 tU by 2040 in the World Nuclear Association’s reference scenario. The supply question gets more interesting as existing mines deplete and more primary production is needed to support reactor demand.

Gold is playing a completely different game.
Its demand is driven less by industrial expansion and more by investment, central-bank buying and macro uncertainty. In 2025, total gold demand reached about 5,002 tonnes, central banks bought 863 tonnes, and mine production was about 3,672 tonnes. Recycling added another 1,404 tonnes to supply.

If you had to pick one to invest in today, which would it be?

General Discussion What If the Next Few Months Change the Story for $SKUR?

Sekur has been getting in front of government, defense, and enterprise buyers. What I’m watching now is whether those conversations can turn into a few hundred premium users.

SekurOne is priced at US$300/user/month, or US$3,600 annually. At that price, the customer math starts to matter pretty quickly:

  • 100 users = US$360K ARR
  • 200 users = US$720K ARR
  • 500 users = US$1.8M ARR

For context, Sekur reported C$408,707 in revenue for 2025. So it doesn’t necessarily take thousands of SekurOne users before the product starts becoming meaningful relative to the company’s current revenue base.

There are also a few near-term milestones to watch. Paid beta clients are scheduled to begin onboarding in September, followed by the official SekurOne launch in the first week of October.

Sekur has also been building exposure to U.S. government and defense buyers through its GSA procurement channel and recent DoDIIS participation.

Then there’s the DRC opportunity. Sekur received an RFP covering 1,200 licences …200 SMB bundle licences initially, followed by 1,000 SMB and Corporate licences  representing a minimum estimated gross ARR of US$1.296M.

It’s still an opportunity rather than a signed contract, but it shows how meaningful one institutional win can be at Sekur’s current scale.

More importantly, Sekur has already said pre-sales engagements are underway with multiple potential clients, partners, and distributors.

Who knows? $SKUR might look like a very different company by December.
