Update Spent my first day of vacation taking these two bonded kittens to the vet: UPDATE
In case anyone remembers my original post from a couple months ago about finding two sick kittens on vacation in California. To anyone who missed the original post: My friend found them on a job site, mama not to be found , clearly sick with some sort of upper respiratory infection. Since I was on vacation, I didn’t have work or set plans for the day so I spent the day taking them to the vet. I spent my vacation looking for someone to adopt or foster them even though I knew in my heart they’d found me for a reason.
welp we are now the proud parents of 4 sweet boys. Here are some before and afters of the kittens when we first found them and some recent videos and photos with their two older brothers here in Nashville.
Everyone, meet Luffy, Chopper, Chonk, and Odyn.

Reminds me of when my flamepoint took care of my new kitten. They only had a few months together, but the flamepoint made sure he had a good apprentice cat to take over caring for his humans.

This is what I hope for my youngest orange someday! I’m a two-ginger household, but my boys are both seniors and I know there will come a day when one of them leaves me. I hope to adopt a bonded pair so they can entertain each other under ginger supervision.
OP, I thought that must be Nashville! Hello from birmingham, where I’ve helped find homes for jobsite kitties. (I work in construction.)

That is similar to what I did! My 2 senior orange boys passed away within 6 weeks of each other. 💔. We ended up adopting a pregnant kitty who gave birth to two kittens. So we now have bonded siblings and their mama. They bring a lot of joy back into the house. And chaos 🤣.

Huh. Our humongous 22lb of muscle orange long hair boy did take care of grey fuzz when she came in at 3 months with the weight of a 6 wk old. Good times.

My orange Gulliver adopted two of my semi feral kittens I brought in. They are now a year old and still cuddle and love on my orange. 🍊

Every animal I've ever "tried to find a home for" was already home as well. The more the merrier, I say trying to dislodge two cats to get up.

I love how you stack your cats so you aren't wasting storage space. So adorable!
They all look like they would tolerate a lot of belly rubs - my boy Rupert does this when he joins the dog and I on our back country walkies. I pay a LOT of taxes to the county through him and his need for belly rubs.

My brother fostered them in Cali for 30 days until they were old enough to fly and then we popped them on a plane with us. They were the sweetest travel buddies

Awww I remember these two! They remind me so much of the cats we had, who both passed away as much loved senior cats. They had also become bonded.

Thank you OP. It is a wonderful thing to keep bonded siblings together. I have 2 sisters that are bonded and came up out of the woods out in back of my house. Also rescued a brother and sister, but they are anything but bonded.

I looked at the pics before reading & immediately realized you’re in Nashville. 😄 The boys are adorable & the pics of them with the Orange are too precious. Looks like they all get along well too.

you are such a kind person. so many people would have shrugged their shoulders and moved on. they might have even thought about them after they got home! but you actually put your plans on the back burner and did something amazing for them. you should feel really good about yourself op 💕

It was so sweet in the beginning how they clearly loved each other so much but gradually the older cats got in on the snuggling action. 🥰

Thank you for saving them and giving them a wonderful life together and family. My heart went all mush with the 17 cuddle puddle. Big gray nearby overseeing it. Home of lovely souls.
