Truly came right on time. Posted about her a couple weeks ago. She found when I was taking a walk around my neighborhood & followed me home. She’s so sweet & affectionate. All she wants is love & space to get her zoomies out. She got her first set of shots & will be following up soon for boosters & microchip ! I will get her spayed but she really won’t be an outdoor kitty. She’s now ) months & I gave her the birthday March 31 (so we can be Aries together 🔥). We take the longest naps & she’s always there, right by my side. I love you Silva, my princess & precious. Thank you for adopting me & calling me your own.
Even if she's strictly an indoor cat, both of you will be happier when she's spayed. You won't have to deal with her yowling in heat, and she'll have a lower risk of breast cancer.
Depends on the type of spay. The standard in the US is to remove both the ovaries and uterus, but in Europe they typically only remove the ovaries. Only removing the ovaries is becoming more common (if still rare) in the US because it's a less invasive surgery.
She’s a beauty. And spaying is for indoor kitties too. Otherwise all the boy cats will be peeing on your door and she will act obnoxious while in heat.
It’s a good thing I’m in a gated complex but there are literally 7 kitties across from me that we watch every day but totally get it, still will spay !!
Hahahaha. I cared for my cat all last year, also a female cat, and while it was tough at the end that's not why I hesitate. It's just tough to manage life sometimes. But I miss it.

When she eats, I eat. She’s getting me out of my habit scrolling (if she’s sleeping & im not, it’s fair game). She is the sunlight in my dark storm. As a note check your area for coupons or vouchers for having her spayed. I’ve done that with my females. Start with the rescues. They usually know where to go. I never had an issue. Or see if there is a low cost spay and neuter clinic.
Good on you for keeping her safe indoors!! She’s so pretty! And being a massive cuddle bug in some of these shots is just icing on the cake. Congratulations!!!
She’s so pretty! And you’ve only had her for two weeks? It’s incredible how comfortable she is with you. Most cats take a few weeks just to adjust to being indoors! She clearly found her person!
