Hi, I'm new to using this effect.

Hey guys was wondering if you had any gel polish recommendations for cat eye. I saw some people buy one color and then use thin colors over. What would be the most bang for my buck?

Keep in mind I am a beginner and don’t wear acrylics or anything.

I made my own press ons and they are friggin gorgeous 😍

I've noticed that getting a really sharp, dimensional cat-eye effect seems to be one of the trickiest parts of magnetic nails.

Sometimes the shimmer looks amazing from one angle, but from another it almost disappears. And getting that beautiful, concentrated glow in the center seems especially challenging!

From what I've learned, a few things can make a difference:

✨ The strength and shape of the magnet

✨ The angle and distance between the magnet and the nail

✨ How the magnetic particles are moved before the polish sets

✨ Lighting, which can completely change how the finished effect looks

I'm curious about everyone's experiences:

What's the hardest part of creating cat-eye nails for you?

Is it getting a sharp magnetic line, creating that soft velvet glow, or making the effect look as beautiful in real life as it does in videos?

It’s my first time doing the cat eye 😅

Hi everyone! This is my third post here. I usually go for cooler tones on my nails, but this time I decided to try something warmer, and I have to say, I really like how it turned out! I just couldn't quite get the cat-eye effect to look the way I wanted.

Product used : Born Pretty – golden Grappe, builder gel + top coat

The colour really came through! I love the cat eye stripe that we ended up with.
