Please everyone, sign the Petition: we demand to know what happened to these cats, we demand accountability and most importantly we demand justice! We will not allow this to happen, these cats matter, they were living, innocent beings. HOW DARE YOU HOME DEPOT, AND EVIL STAFF BETRAY THE PUBLIC, THE CAREGIVERS, AND HARM THESE ANIMALS. YOU KILLED THESE CATS! YOU ARE ALLOWING THIS CRIME TO TAKE PLACE!

Everyone, please call, email, leave messages. IDA has compiled all the necessary info:
Call the local store and ask to speak directly with Store Manager Rachel Jividen. If she is unavailable, ask whether she is still the store manager and, if not, ask to speak with the current store manager about the community cats removed from the property.
Home Depot at Lake City, Florida 386-755-0761
Call Home Depot Corporate Customer Care. Ask the representative to document your complaint and request that it be forwarded to corporate management regarding the Lake City community cats.
Home Depot Corporate Customer Care 1-800-466-3337
You can say:
βI'm calling about the community cats removed from the Lake City Home Depot. I am asking Home Depot to account for every cat removed from the property, including where each cat was taken and what happened to them. Home Depot should also adopt a humane community cat policy like the one used at Disneyland.β
- Post on Social Media. For maximum effectiveness, please post on both the local store and the main corporate accounts.
Home Depot at Lake City, Florida Post on the store's social media pages and ask Home Depot to account for every community cat removed from the property.
The Home Depot Tag and comment on Home Depot's corporate social media pages on every platform, including Facebook, Instagram, X, and other active accounts.

You can say:
Where are the Home Depot cats? The Lake City colony was removed, yet Home Depot has not accounted for every cat or revealed what happened to them. Demand answers & a humane community cat policy. #WhereAreTheHomeDepotCats
- Send a Letter. Send our letter to The Home Depot's CEO, Ted Decker, asking Home Depot to account for every community cat removed from the Lake City store, disclose what happened to each cat, and establish a humane companywide policy protecting community cat colonies.

When you call, the most that they do is document that you called and that they have "humanely trapped the cats and taken them off the property".

"They found the last kitty and heβs going to live with the feeder. There is some kind of press conference this Friday Oct 16th and I know the Ranch was offering a reward for information on what happened to the other cats. At least this cat will have a happy ending."
