looking for a legit therapist ideally near uptown for anxiety who can also provide an ESA letter for my apartment building. I am looking to do therapy, not just get a letter. thanks!

The first therapist ain’t always the best…sometimes you gotta go through a few before you find the right one that meshes…that being said I’d try one of the online scripts to get your dogs taken care of and then get yourself taken care of.

I tried pettable but saw the terrible reviews.  I have a rabbit, my building only allows dogs and cats.

Yea, I wouldn’t put my life in the hands of any of these people, but your first need is shelter and then find a person who can work with you…even if you find a legitimate therapist you may not like them and then you’re pushing your esa out longer. My PCP wrote me one cause I was moving here, so that allowed me to get here, move in, and gives me time to find a therapist that works for me.

I used pettable and had no issues

You can always ask the therapist if they're currently taking clients

Do you have insurance? You may want to search on psychology today and narrow down what you are looking for. You can then ask them during the consult if they have a free 15 min one about esa letters
