🎙️ Terrence Oglesby: "I think Coby White, at the price they got him for, has a little more creative juice than you'd think. And I think he's gonna do more on the other side of the floor. [...] I'm a big fan of how he can score it, and he fits the let it go mantra that Charles Lee likes from a point guard."

"The addition of Hannes Steinbach was a really underrated pick... I'm a big Steinbach guy. I think that's gonna work out well."

According to a press release YouTube TV was supposed to air all WSOC games if you live in market. I live in the Belmont/Mt Holly area and YouTube TV is saying any game on channel 9 is unavailable while the channel 64 games are available.

Will it show up eventually? Or do I need to find some other ways to watch the game?

Is this worth checking out if it comes with my ticket? Any tips or does it just sound fancy?

I'm not sure what changed between the summer leauge and now, but CA is like a whole different player. Just from the limited minutes he's already one of our better perminter defenders on a team that REALLY needs them. Brandon hasn't evolved as a player in pretty much any regard if we go off preseason (His defense being the worst offender) with i argue only scion and moose being the only ones above average in that regard on the team. He was clearly trying to be the set up man instead of the scorer which I appreciate because we've got almost exclusively socrers on this team and whatever the fuck naz is supposed to be.

The offense looks and feels completely with him on the floor and it's pretty telling that he was given ball handling duties over scion instantly. Outside of coby and Schroder( I argue he's even better than him) he's our best ball handler which is crazy considering he's a rook.

With LaMelo Ball gone, Coby White is taking over at point guard in Charlotte, and a ton of shot-creation responsibility will fall on him. One prediction has White winning Most Improved Player after averaging 15.6 points in just 19.3 minutes per game with the Hornets last season.

Found this in my phone when looking for an old photo. I’m officially marked safe from MKG’s shooting form, but ptsd remains. This shit jump scared me in my photo reel.

I recently moved to Bluffton SC and was THRILLED when they said all games will be broadcast in NC and SC.

But wait, that's cute. All parts except... This tiny triangle of SC. Ffs.

Just curious if he’s a former player/coach.

"The 6-10 forward is just 21 and I've heard from more than a few folks that the first draft pick of the Jeff Peterson Era in Charlotte has taken some real strides this summer. Yet it's also true that Salaun realistically projects to be a rotation player at best at this stage after the Hornets once believed he had a star-level ceiling. And Connaughton is known to be a Kon Knueppel favorite who brings undeniable locker room value to Charlotte's team."

Anyone else baffled by this offseason? We needed an upgrade at center and didn’t get one. We’re also worse at point guard: Coby White isn’t close to LaMelo as an offensive creator, local Carolina bias aside.

We dumped high value players for redundant 30 somethings on their way out of the league, an unproven sixth man, and distant draft picks. Then we drafted Hannes, who doesn’t fit the rotation at either PF or C spot, despite being a 14th pick. He’s not the answer at center against elite bigs, and he’s fourth on the PF depth chart behind Naz, Williams, and Tidjane. And nobody talks about whether Grant Williams will ever be the same after his knee injury. Tidjane still lost as hell out there and management trying to resurrect their misstep taking him with 6th pick. “Building a sustainable team” is cover for ownership cheaping out. How is stacking mediocre 30-year-olds sustainable rather than just cheap? We gave up on building around our two longest-tenured players, who are still young, right as we’d finally put decent pieces around them. If we waste last year’s momentum and win 20-ish games this year, ownership and management need to be held accountable by the fans. Feels like 2026-2027 could of been a huge year for the Hornets with different decision making and its a shame to witness as a fan who was excited after last year.

"A lot of people around the NBA have been telling me that they think Brandon Miller's got perennial All-Star potential after showing a pretty seamless ability to score 20 points per game over the last season and change. That's a $40M player in today's NBA."
