Recommendations Thrift Stores

Coming this weekend and looking for recommendations on favorited thrift stores. TIA.

edit Thanks for all the responses so far! Looking for mainly clothing, would love if it’s Cleveland sports related(from PA and it’s all Pittsburgh around here), and vintage house decor.

Are you looking for big ones like Goodwill or more niche/vintage? There’s a couple Goodwills on the East side (South Euclid and Mayfield) and a Volunteers of America near Willoughby. Savers in Rocky River on the West side. For vintage there’s Flower Child in Lakewood; Moonstruck and Mix in Cleveland/Cleveland Heights.

And some others. Most of the good ones (Unique) and charity shops are gone.

It’s more expensive and curated but I LOVE walking through All Things For You in Tremont

I love the value world in Northfield for general stuff.
Piece Unique for higher end brands
Restore in Northfield for home stuff

Cleveland Furniture Bank (not just furniture) in Parma Heights and Best Friends Thrift (Parma Heights/Middleburg Heights) are both on Pearl Rd near each other and they keep their dollars local. To me, that's important.... Also, both have dressing rooms to try things on which is nice and they both still have discounts by tag colors which was abandoned by most of our other big "chain" thrift stores.

Further down Pearl (but not by much) is a Goodwill.... It's fine, a typical Goodwill.

What are you looking for ? That defines your options.

I really like Uptown on Mayfield in Mayfield. They mostly have women's clothes in good condition. The store is very organized, nice changing rooms, and fair pricing. The men's selection is decent too. It seems they may also get crates from stores or somehow get a hold on brand new items. I've found brand new shoes and dresses there. You may not find a super cute vintage Woolwich sweater there though. It depends what you're looking for.

Highland Throwbacks in Lakewood has a really good vintage clothing collection and should have tons of vintage sports apparel.
