I doubt they have ever entertained the idea. Bruce is kind of a douche. Love their music though.

This is a dream headliner for Paul and co. I am sure they’ve reached out and probably didnt work out for Coachella, but they got them for Power Trip.

I'm sure Paul has reached out but I could see Bruce just complaining about influencers and Instagram

Among other things, yea. I’m sure cost and timing. The ship has sailed, which I feel the same with Metallica, Rolling Stones and U2.
The new generation of attendees I think are no into legends of rock, as much as they want current pop artists.

10-15 years ago I'd believe they could headline. Now? At best the last minute set in the Mojave. Which ain't happening, stage couldn't handle the Eddie puppets or fighter plane.

They would probably close outdoor if they ever played, they are much bigger than The Misfits who closed outdoor a couple years ago, theres no way they play the Mojave

Misfits benefited from GV's punk history, as many bands have and continue to do so. (There's no other way to explain that mockery of Black Flag last year.) I'm skeptical that extends to NWOBHM. But agreed, if they were to perform, your booking makes more sense.

Plus, Maiden at least plays their instruments. It was quite amusing when the Misfit's bassist (I think -- may have been guitar) took a shiter and face planted, yet somehow didn't miss a note.
