Recruiting Providence Guard Dink Pate has been ruled ineligible and will head back to the G-league.

I mean he wanted him. Luck more than validation.

I don't understand any of these eligibility debates, how is Pate not cleared while everyone else and their mothers is seemingly able to play?

Unfortunately due to online high school classes he took to graduate early

Didn't know there was an academic issue here, that's too bad

Wow, sucks for Providence. Sucks that guys eligibility issues are still popping up this close to the season.

Guy who never played college basketball or in the NBA is ineligible, and will likely be replaced by someone who’s already played 4 years of college ball. Makes perfect sense.

Dink is from a Dallas isd school famous for issues. I fear he has no academic foundation and I’m sure his grades and ACT had issues. I wish him the best but pro leagues are his best bet.

Big loss for PC. They can still make the tournament but he probably was their best offensive player and possibly overall.

Seasons just about to begin and the Friars suddenly find themselves Dinkless. Tough break.
