Media Conan Exiles Enhanced - Patch 3.0.0
Greetings, Exiles!
Patch 3.0 is here along with Legacy of the Giant-Kings Part 2. The story continues with new otherworldly challenges, sorcery spells, and the return of the Mi-Go.
Mysterious Rifts have opened across the Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah, inviting players to step into dangerous otherworldly arenas filled with new challenges and rewards.
Read all about the new additions, changes and bug fixes below:
- Added inventory filters for heavy, medium, and light armor, plus regular clothing.
- Inventory item filters now show a tooltip on hover.
- Legendary items can now be dismantled at the dismantling bench for legendary fragments.
- Restored body hair on thralls. Let it grow, let it grow!
- The DLC toggle in the knowledge menu will filter all DLC items including any that aren’t owned.

Everyone's armed and my main thralls both have momentums. Those legendaries are from me trying to farm two momentums. Lost count how many chests it took lol.

If you’re on PvP why not use them are expendable skirmish weapons when you go out in cheap gear?

I am still waiting for surges to finally start spawning in Alchemists, Cooks, Carpenters, Tanners, Smelters, Sorcerers, and Taskmasters

Saw the purple chasm(?) on the sky. Sorry I'm new. Is that a temporary event and I have to hurry? Or can I enjoy the content any time?

The dungeon that came with Part 1 is permanent. Actually, completing the dungeon story the first time is what spawned the purple tendrils in the sky during Part 1. As for the portals now appearing in camps, I velieve it is temporary but likely to make a return in some way at a later date for anyone who missed it, considering you need materials from these rift events to unlock the new spells.
But I am not sure on the latter.

Its new for now and while its not confirmed yet, it’ll likely be spawned like the Siptah surges or it’ll become a rotating event like the others

Any update on console enhanced?, Theres only more and more exploits and game breaking issues popping up and none are being fixed on top of the empty servers from console players giving up on Funcom

I appreciate everyone from the console community for being so incredibly patient and understanding. An amazing community that has stuck by us for so long.
I really can't say anything more about the announcement right now but more will be revealed later this month.5

Why would you announce an enhanced edition for pcs without a definitive answer for the console fans back in May and why the wait? If they made the console players wait so long to not get the same “free-lc” it’s just going to be a pr nightmare.

Now. I am probably coping. But! They are probably not releasing bug fixes. Because any day now! We're getting enhanced! Which will be a re-release for free!

I also wanna cope but even before we were cut off game breaking issues existed for years, i pray for console enhanced it’s consoles only hope since they effectively killed it with lack of fixes and content

Anyone know a fix to get it running on SteamOS (Steam Deck) again? Just crashes when trying to load into the game.

Thanks for the update! Does anyone know if the filters for armor weights also applies when you are crafting armor? It would be really helpful if we could filter in the armoring bench just for one weight of armor and see the options of only that weight instead of all of it being mixed together.

Yes, crafting benches also have the filter. But it doesn't include the padding - these are all lumped together under clothing. And it looks like there are a couple of incorrectly classified pieces that will probably get fixed, eg. Aesir Chieftain Breastplate.

This is good news! Padding also needs to be affected by these filters because padding is for making armor and are not clothes.

My boss didn't spawn and I just exited the game and loaded it back up and there he was. It seems like an obvious answer, so if you already tried that unfortunately I have nothing for you.

Either use admin command to spawn the boss in, in single player, or try running all the way back to the second water area, the one at the big drop into the city proper, then climb directly from there up to the boss room.
If I had to make a guess, it's the fact that the boss room is directly overhead during that jump that leads to the boss despawning. Because we're quite close before we jump down into the water, and that new distance despawns the boss.

Problem with admin-spawning is even after you slay him the barrier remains up. THAT can be solved by admin ghosting through said barrier, but while you can access The Anvil the final NPC interaction won't happen. Boo. Better singleplayer solution is to just log off and reload in the room so it all loads correctly (hopefully).

Not yet but I did poke the rest of the team about this issue. Hopefully we can get it fixed in an upcoming hotfix.

Is it worth coming back to this update as a PvP player. The amount of long breaks I had and bases I let decay cuz game got dead and no fun . Is it alive on ps5 rn?

The rifts spawn in camps. They have some nasties that spawn in waves. I looted a new Tome and a new sorcery staff from one of them. Still haven't figured out the new magic yet, might be in the dungeon, but I'm not going in there solo judging from what I saw in Cyclopean halls. Most of my server mates are euro time zone so It'll be this weekend before I see it.

Now if you could just make beast followers not trash, that'd be great. I paid for some sick tiger skins, it'd be great if tigers weren't just base decoration and could do more than tickle opponents.

As a casual returning player who's character is only about level 30, should I be concerned that there is a giant throbbing purple portal of Ill Omen in the sky near my base?? The closest one seems to in a Dafari camp near the beginning river area but the locals seem to be oblivious and just attempted to hack my head off as usual. Should these things be spawning enemies or something??

Do I need to do the dungeon first before I'm able to enter one of the rifts? I started playing again today and found a rift in an enemy camp, but can't enter it. Thought it was a mod conflict first, but same problem with all mods off

Hi u/Inflexion-Nick . I saw the Onsen spa that we had bought that that guy had posted videos on that I showed you here. It looks like you guys are working on it. Looking good, but I'll have to agree with his video that it needs a slight adjustment to lessen the refraction effect. It's so wavy underneath it's almost blurry, and i'm guessing you're still working on it along with the side items that still have to have their water fixed. I think it's great you guys are doing this so fast. Same here. Worked fine yesterday, started playing solo 3 days ago, joined server yesterday. All fine, maybe one crash the whole time. This morning, crashes x seconds after loading the UI, doesn't get to Online or Solo. Verified game files: same. Rebooted and verified game files: same. Cold boot, check for all updates on steam, in steam. in OS, verify game files: same. Checked other games: all normal. Switched to UE4 Legacy version: 4 hours later, runs fine, except it has no memory of progress in any context. Switching back to "enhanced', which inexplicably required everything to be downloaded again. Should be testable in 3.5 hours.
AMD HX 470 - 32G / 12 allocated to VRAM, Nobara Linux (rolling updates and fully updated), used CachyOs Proton previously, but also tried Experimental and latest stable.

The NVAPI implementation is broken and spamming the proton logs, so use the fix for Proton to disable it in Steam launch options.
PROTON_DISABLE_NVAPI=1 %command%(First part sets the environment variable to force disable it, then %command% is the default command to do whatever Steam normally does when you hit Play - i.e, to launch the game.)

They did, console version is dead and in desperate need of dev intervention it’s literally just a hole in their wallet draining money to maintain due to how unprofitable it is due to neglect

Yeah a next Gen upgrade to console edition is legit the only way to revive console with how dead it is my region peaked up 4 people in PvP. The lack of bug fixes and updates allowed even more bugs and toxic metas to flourish and it killed Conan

Now if we could get also get filters for weapon types and the artisan bench (seating, lighting, container, etc...).
