olive oil
i’ve seen that a tablespoon of straight olive oil helps with constipation, i have tried once or twice myself but couldnt definitively say it worked since i used other methods with it. has anyone tried this and it works? i know its a lipid/fat which can be a source if constipation as well so just curious

1/2 shot of olive oil in the morning with a scoop of yogurt. also about 4 slides of butter too. keeps things lubricated and helps!

Family member with gastroparesis and the constipation is a nightmare could last for weeks so she started trying just everything possible.
Her aunt recommended mineral oil so she does 2 teaspoons or 2 tablespoons every night in Gatorade she just makes a 6 ounce 8 ounce glass of Gatorade. She puts it in there, stirring it up really doesn’t make a big difference, but that’s how she takes it and her constipation has been gone
