so I found this at a thrift store for like a couple bucks. I’m making a master chief cosplay and I wanted a master chief AR for it so I have this one and I’m thinking about sanding and to look more like The Game but the brain inside of me is telling me that I shouldn’t because that’ll screw resale value. The cosplay part of my brain is telling me I don’t want to build an entire AR for this when I just already have this so I need some more opinions.

I am trying to attach buttons to a spandex like stretch suit for a costume and am not sure how to do it so it doesnt rip the fabric or cause issues, any advice would be great!

I am doing an original armored character for a con in January. I turned my front and side sketches into a helmet model with supavoxel, split it in four and printed it in PLA on an Ender 3 V3. The shape is exactly what I drew and the seams sanded out nicely. The problem is I wear glasses and can't do contacts, and right now the cheek pieces press my frames into my face after five minutes. Do people usually cut the inner shell away and pad it with EVA foam, or redesign the whole cheek area wider?

Based off what I look like, can anybody give me any costume ideas? I was thinking maybe Arthur Morgan or something like a Byzantine soldier. If I was ripped I’d just go in a torn white cloth and call it a day but unfortunately that is not the case.

I ordered the following helmet on Amazon and cannot figure out how I’m supposed to put this together.

I think it is a cosplay helmet and although they mention using a hot glue gun, There are holes with no screws and that is confusing me.

I want to finish my outfit but I need to find a realistic brown bear headdress, something that I can wear on my head allowing for face makeup. Also need imitation pelt for the cloak. I have everything else.

I never did a cosplay i would want to but i have no experiences, but i would love to help people by being a cosplay medic. How can i become one? What skills should i master, should i cosplay before to gain experiences or should i just jump into it. Also iam not sure what could i need iam guessing sewing kit, glue, pins etc, but as i saw some lists what to bring i'm not sure if its possible to enjoy the convention and buy something from there with all those items already on me.

ik ben op zoek naar een zeer hoge kwaliteit cosplay van Melissa Benoist’s supergirl (zoals op de foto ongeveer) MAAR deze moet wel leverbaar zijn in België zonder douane kosten etc… ook ligt mijn budget niet zo hoog ik wil dit namelijk rond de 100 - 200 euro houden.

Ik ga namelijk naar dream it conventions en de leverdatum ligt ook wat kort (moet voor 11 november opgestuurd zijn) en wil hiermee op de foto. Heeft iemand hier aanraders voor bepaalde sites of eventueel commissies?
