Hello guys.

I am an international medical graduate applying for family medicine residency program Creighton University.

Currently I’m preparing for my interview here and at different places (i hope i get some)

Anyone from the campus wants to socialize or anything. I’m up for it. I have a friend with me who is applying in internal medicine residency program Creighton university.

Looking forward

Anybody been to Joslyn Castle? They throw a mean party…

If you’ve never come across us on here, we’re a crew of local culture workers/nerds who want to get more people supporting the orgs that make our city better/brighter.

We don’t make money from our newsletter, we don’t charge orgs or sell ads. And on occasion we partner with orgs, put some money back in the cultural community and buy memberships/tickets ourselves to get butts in seats.

This go, we snagged a Joslyn Castle membership to give away, their team, program, and the building itself are 💯.

If you’re curious Google “Stay Cultured” (as always, no links no not spam 🫶🏻)

Hello,
I’ve noticed while reading US News that Creighton’s acceptance rate has increased to 80% with an early acceptance rate of 85.7%.

I remember when I applied and was accepted in 2020; the acceptance rate was 72%. I was just wondering why Creighton has increased their acceptance rate? Wouldn’t it be better if Creighton was more competitive in terms of undergraduate admissions?

Creighton welcomed the third largest freshman class in its history. Current enrollment is at 8,948 undergraduate and graduate students. It appears that Creighton is still doing well despite the “demographic cliff.”

Hi! I’m interested in getting into the Creighton scholars program at their law school. I was wondering how competitive it is to get that opportunity, and if anyone knows what stats would be desirable. Additionally, is there anyway I can make my application more stand out aside from that. Any advice is really appreciated!!

So Fizz is marketed as a Gen Z social app (as if we don't have enough of those already) in which users can make whatever posts they want with some* moderation. Seeming just another apple exclusive yikyap ripoff but this time with some genuinely concerning behaviors. First and foremost, the app has been noted for pyramid scheme tactics in trying to get others to download it and rewarding people for sharing it through links. Other users have warned about it being used for harvesting/mining users information and selling it which raises some serious security concerns for both students and whoever else is on their phones.

It could be entirely that I am too skeptical but the risks just seemingly do not outweigh the reward and I at this time cannot recommend downloading it.

(If you haven't heard the story of the original app like this "YikYap" I highly recommend you do a quick Google search or watch a YouTube video on it)

Has anyone on this sub attended or has graduated from Creighton Law? What was the experience like? Was it easy to find a job after graduation?

Welcome back to semester! Mid-August is rain, humidity, and the general sensation of walking around inside a warm washcloth. Ideal? No. Good time to enjoy some culture? Duh.

Here are 5 Omaha Arts + Culture happenings worth venturing into the “soup” for this weekend:

Deciding between ASU and Creighton ABSN programs starting in Spring 2027. Anyone have any feedback on their experience?

Hi, i am an exchange student coming from Austria to Creighton University for the upcoming winter semester studying business informatics.

What can i expect from the campus life at creighton?

I am not picky and rather an extrovert, also open to parties, what can i expect mentally?

Hi there! I am trying to find more information on whether to choose the Omaha or Pheonix campus of Creighton.

Any students of either the Omaha and Pheonix campuses can talk about their experiences?

The only difference the school has mentioned is that Omaha has more biomed/bench research, whereas Pheonix has more clinical research, I personally don't have experience in bench research so I still haven't decided if that means anything to me.

Hey everyone, I bet everyone is excited about the 2026-2027 year, I just wanted to remind everyone with the Creighton insurance policy deadline coming up as well, that if you can provide proof of comparable coverage, you don't have to sign up for their insurance plan. Depending on your enrollment, you could be paying over $368 per month on coverage when there could be way better comparable coverage available instead. My name is Ilario Pablo and I'm a health insurance broker here in Omaha and if you want to compare policies before committing to their plan, give me a text/call at 531-215-6407.

Hello! I’m about to start the ABSN program and have not gotten too much information on what the schedule will be like. If anyone knows how the first 8 weeks are set up would love to hear! Also if anyone has any experience in the program and advice, I’m definitely nervous and would love that!

My daughter just found out she will be living in McGloin Hall. Of course, that is the one hall that wasn't available to tour when we were there for orientation. Questions:

1. Does the shower have some kind of shelf system for shampoo, etc. or should we buy one of those standing shower shelves with the 4 shelves on a tension pole?
2. I saw something somewhere that said it comes with a full-length mirror but the Creighton move-in checklist states you should bring a mirror. Does McGloin already have one?
3. The one video online showed that the kids purchased couch and chair covers. Is that necessary? What does the couch look like as-is?
4. Should we bother with some kind of large Brita water pitcher or are there decent water fill-up stations in the dorm and around campus?
5. Looking at the floor diagrams online, there doesn't appear to be any laundry rooms in the entire building. Maybe there is one large one in the basement?

Thanks for any help!

Basically what the title says. I am an undergrad on the Pre-med track and have heard different stories regarding the difficulty of getting a CUCL. I am nervous on whether or not I could be able to get one.

Hello! My niece will be attending Creighton in the fall and I’m wanting to get her a HS graduation gift that will be something she enjoys rather than mundane (think towels, laundry bag, etc). So, I’m here to ask for advice. What are gifts you all would like to receive? Drop your best ideas!

Has anyone taken a general biology course over the summer at Creighton? I need to re-take Bio 202: cellular and molecular biology, and I'm not sure if the 8-week class over the summer or re-taking it in the spring semester, my sophomore year will be better.

Hi everyone!I’m an international student joining Creighton this fall for the MS in Pharmaceutical Science program. I’m really looking forward to connecting with you all!

As a huge WWE fan, I saw there is a 25% discount for Creighton students for the upcoming RAW event in Omaha on Ticketmaster. However, it’s asking for a password/offer code to unlock the deal. I’ve tried reaching out to the box office and Ticketmaster, but haven’t had any luck getting the specific code.

Does anyone know where students usually find these types of promo codes? Is it sent via a specific university newsletter or portal?

Thanks in advance for the help, and I can’t wait to meet some of you on campus!
