Ask CTI These so called RW people have such a filthy mindset toward women and I feel ashamed when they use Prabhu Shri Ram’s name as a political slogan.

I never wanted to say this, but after hearing such statements by the BJ Party supporters, I wish that the same people saying things to Ankita's parents and the deceased Ankita they also face the same thing within their family and then another BJ party supporter calls it a propaganda.

So inhuman these right wing idiots are.

u/Ill_Tonight6349 7h ago

People always equate right wing to left wing saying both are equally bad. Its not true. Left wing politics is progressive politics. Right wing politics is backwards. 100 years back right wing would have fought to keep the casteism alive which they still do but not very openly. Left wing would have fought to eradicate it.

u/burdlock 7h ago

These goons have created an imaginary left wing - right wing division to justify their actions under the guise of ideology. If you criticize them, they'll brush it off as being "their ideology" when in reality they are extremist goons, there is no such thing as left wing or right, its humans against greedy power hungry thugs.

1

u/Gutss5 6h ago

What they mean is that the most vocal groups on each side are the same, only viewing things in binary.

-5

u/cryptic_mind3_7 7h ago

Left wing wants 90% reservation, wants to remove 370, wanna stop make in India. What progressive in this?? Have you ever read their pre election manifesto?? Ever?? Dumbfck

Once Iran elected progressive left and went 1400 years back

6

u/Silent-Blueberry8403 4h ago

Iranians were going through different problems back then better check the history before commenting

-4

u/Diligent_Mulberry_35 4h ago

I checked the history before commenting 😂 they always use left to gain power and ditch them later.

Lebanon, iran, Afghanistan, even Bangladesh.

Either you are Andh or stupid, not my fault. Please come with facts if you can

4

u/Silent-Blueberry8403 4h ago

Did you know the condition of poor in iran before adding that laughing emoji

2

u/saiw14 3h ago

You are andh , None of the examples you gave are left wing. Soon you will justify British Raj in India ig? Just like you are justifying the BJP raj? Use left and right to deny justice to a family is fundamentally wrong.

2

u/saiw14 3h ago

Mozadegh was progressive left and democraticically elected , Khameini is right wing conservative.

-3

u/CurIns9211 6h ago

yahi toh hai Sanatan Dharma

8

u/Senior-Gas-970 7h ago

No its not, they are destroying real Sanatan hinduism.. all those right wing goons are antihindu in reality

3

u/CurIns9211 6h ago

Every extremist is bane to its own religion.

1

u/Suitable-Pirate-1350 7h ago

then why has bjp, vhp and rss, shankaracharya and all the other big babas not renounced manusmriti, some infact still invoke it, encourage it and lament that it is not followed anymore, the average hindu i am sure does not believe in it, but the ones up top and in power seem to live it

2

u/Senior-Gas-970 6h ago edited 6h ago

Because Manusmriti is not Sanatan Dharm. Its one text encompassing the sanatan. It encompasses traditions involving the Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, philosophical schools, devotional practices and diverse religious customs all the way up until this point. Hinduism is not a religion of the book, we have evolved adapted and learnt to take the best of any culture in the subcontinent and blend it. Bhakti movement is only 600 years old in its current form. Ram was only declared an avatar of Vishnu in the Gupta era, following older thoughts, in the first half of the first millennium. We keep our practices and tradition while also understanding that its eternal and everflowing expression of humanity and life. The politicians and these gundas know nothing of sanatan dharma, only facets and want to dogmatise it. Its not hinduism but these people. I honestly believe hinduism is in the fabric of this country and the best way forward is for someone like Swami Vivekanada to come and help synthesise it for the modern world. To discard old, cruel and defunct traditions, to preserve the strong and necessary ones. However most if not all Swamis are fake and sold out idiots, unwilling to have the moral rigour to see it through.

And yet these are the very people in power, inaugurating temples in God's name, fighting elections in God's name, lynching people over cattle in God's name, and claiming to defend the very religion you're so desperate to absolve of any responsibility.

And I notice your strange aversion to naming the BJP, RSS and VHP. You conveniently call them 'politicians' and 'goondas', as if every political party is equally responsible for weaponising Hinduism. Why not name the actual organisations? Admit it, you're a right-winger who wants to look progressive without having to criticise his default political parties. And they're your default parties precisely because they're the political extension of your default religious identity. Your reluctance to name them is rather telling.

And LMFAO, Swami Vivekananda? That's your trump card for progressive Hinduism? The same man who declared 'Caste is a very good thing' and called its abolition 'sheer nonsense'?

[Read his own words]

The same man who described a wife as her mother-in-law's shadow, declared motherhood the fulfilment of womanhood, and approvingly invoked Manu as 'our great law-giver'?

[Again, his own words]

Quite the fucking progressive icon you've chosen.

Your entire argument is that Hinduism gets to take credit for every beautiful philosophical idea associated with it, while everything ugly, from caste hierarchy to the political movements operating in its name, is conveniently declared 'not real Sanatan'.

u/Senior-Gas-970 5h ago edited 5h ago

Great to see dogma is not just in religious people. The problem with your argument is that you seem to think acknowledging the flaws of a religious tradition and believing in its capacity for reform are mutually exclusive. They’re not.

Did I defend lynchings, religious violence or the political exploitation of Hinduism anywhere? No. But since you insist on names haan sure I am perfectly willing to criticise the BJP, RSS, VHP and the rest when they use Hindu religious identity for political mobilisation justify discrimination or encourage religious polarisation. I dont believe any political organisation has the authority to define Hinduism for everyone. Which I also mentioned. My criticism isnt dependent on which party happens to be in power.

Also you have misunderstood my point about Vivekananda. I wasnt proposing that we bring back his entire worldview and apply it fully in the 21st century. His defence of caste was wrong, and his views on women’s roles were deeply restrictive by modern standards. I have no problem acknowledging that. But he also advocated education, social upliftment and religious reinterpretation. The entire point of invoking someone like him was to argue for a new generation of religious reformers who could go further than he did, including explicitly rejecting caste hierarchy.

And yes caste discrimination and patriarchy are part of Hinduism history. I have also never argued otherwise. Manusmriti is part of that history too. But recognising that history ka meaning yeh nahi that every practice, text or interpretation is eternally binding. Why should a religious tradition be incapable of rejecting its historical injustices without ceasing to exist?

Also why did I say a Swami is necessary?
Because caste discrimination has survived despite constitutional protections and legal reform post independence. Laws alone cannot eliminate deeply internalised social attitudes. You can have secular legislation and also cultural reform side by side.

You are accusing me of trying to absolve Hinduism of responsibility when I am literally advocating tht we confront and solve our historical problems. I want to preserve whats worth preserving, reform what is capable of reform and discard what’s incompatible with human dignity. That’s not denying history. That’s learning from it. So stop trying to shove your right wing left wing dogma up my ass and start actually understanding the people and lifestyle of this country.

0

u/Suitable-Pirate-1350 5h ago

The problem with your argument is that you seem to think acknowledging the flaws of a religious tradition and believing in its capacity to reform are mutually exclusive.

Why don't you tell me precisely what internal reforms have actually taken place within Hinduism?

And don't tell me about practices like sati, where legal intervention was necessary alongside reform campaigns. Tell me which oppressive religious doctrines and practices have been explicitly rejected through internal religious reform, without relying primarily on constitutional, legal or political intervention.

I don't believe any political organisation has the authority to define Hinduism for everyone. My criticism isn't dependent on which party happens to be in power.

Yet the BJP, RSS and VHP are constantly trying to define Hinduism for everyone, and the BJP is literally ruling the country. What exactly is the point of your hypothetical political neutrality when we're discussing the organisations actually exercising power?

That's like living under British colonial rule and proudly announcing that the Khilafat movement and Ghadar Party were also capable of violence. Congratulations on your impartiality. Now can we discuss the people actually ruling us?

The entire point of invoking someone like him was to argue for a new generation of religious reformers who could go further than he did, including explicitly rejecting caste hierarchy.

Haan toh invoke a contemporary Hindu religious reformer na. Why do you keep invoking this hypothetical enlightened Hindu reformer who apparently exists exclusively in your imagination? You brought up Vivekananda, whose own views on caste and women were hardly consistently progressive, and now your argument depends on some imaginary successor who will conveniently correct all his shortcomings. Brilliant.

Why should a religious tradition be incapable of rejecting its historical injustices without ceasing to exist?

Correct. Now show me evidence of these historical injustices being actively, explicitly and institutionally rejected by influential Hindu religious authorities. Nobody said reform was impossible. I'm asking you to demonstrate that it's actually happening. How is this distinction so difficult to understand?

I am literally advocating that we confront and solve our historical problems. I want to preserve what's worth preserving, reform what is capable of reform and discard what's incompatible with human dignity.

And I can advocate for calling elephants birds. That doesn't make elephants birds. Your personal aspirations for Hinduism do not establish that its religious authorities, political representatives or followers are actually doing what you advocate.

You keep confusing the Hinduism you would like to exist with the Hinduism that actually exists.

So stop trying to shove your right wing left wing dogma up my ass and start actually understanding the people and lifestyle of this country.

And how exactly should I do that? By being as equally ignorant and ill-informed as you? By pretending that the organisations exercising political and religious authority have nothing to do with the religion they explicitly claim to represent?

Your entire argument relies on an imaginary version of Hinduism, imaginary reformers and hypothetical political neutrality, while conveniently dismissing the actual institutions and power structures operating in its name.

At some point, bhai, you'll have to stop confusing your personal wishlist for Hinduism with the reality outside your window.

u/Suitable-Pirate-1350 6h ago

u/opening-panic7588, why'd you run away, son? Why do you assume that I somehow have a soft corner for Islam?

Or did my critique of Hinduism make you so uncomfortable that instead of reflection, your instinct was to drag another terrible religion into the conversation?

1

u/Opening-Panic7588 6h ago

Because I know that was wrong so I deleted. Not like you who can not admit his mistake. Why don't you answer the one that I asked now grandson.

1

u/Suitable-Pirate-1350 6h ago

already answered you, coward

1

u/Opening-Panic7588 6h ago

Coward and ignorance is your sign. Since only a stupid would criticize a whole religion based on only few ones opinion. How stupid someone has to be to make opinions about billions of people based of few.

1

u/Opening-Panic7588 7h ago

Same can be said about every religious book. Some are even much more regressive than the one you named. But of course you'll not take those names.

0

u/Suitable-Pirate-1350 6h ago

You can name those books and we can discuss my views on them right now

1

u/Kitchen_Watch7254 6h ago

Every ancient religious book is regressive in some form on other. Not because they intend to be regressive but rather because that was feature of the era they were written in.

1

u/Kitchen_Watch7254 6h ago

Why renounce Manusmriti? Its an ancient text, let it be. Are laws made from it? Is casteism prevalent because of it? Its the left that makes Manusmriti relevant, not the right.

2

u/Gutss5 7h ago

No it’s not, it’s religious dogmatism

0

u/Suitable-Pirate-1350 6h ago

no, it's just religion

1

u/Gutss5 6h ago

That’s fine if you view it like that. I don’t believe in religion myself but I don’t blame it entirely for attracting people with shitty mindset. That kind of mentality is not limited to just religion.

Now coming to Dharma as it was really called by us, I believe it was really progressive for its time, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have beliefs that do not stand the test of time and therefore must be discarded.

0

u/Suitable-Pirate-1350 6h ago

Progressive for whom, exactly? This rose-tinted fantasy of a glorious, progressive Hindu past is largely upper-caste nostalgia masquerading as history.

1

u/Gutss5 6h ago

Progressive for the times they lived in. Was the situation during its inception similar to the way it’s interpreted now? Maybe, maybe not because we cannot accurately determine that.

For example take the nature of caste system or the Varna system as some might call it. What might have started as stratification of societal responsibilities eventually morphed into the heinous monstrosity we have in the modern age.

Moreover, I believe the society we had was for the most part an inclusive society and it wasn’t restrictive, allowing people to question it, not just take everything it said for granted.

1

u/Suitable-Pirate-1350 6h ago

you are an upper caste right ?

1

u/Gutss5 6h ago

No baniya and a staunch atheist, although I do not understand how that is important. If there is a problem with my argument, sure I am all ears.

1

u/Suitable-Pirate-1350 6h ago

What are baniyas then?

1

u/Gutss5 6h ago

Vaishya, although that’s what google says, I never bothered to ask that question from my parents

RW hate woman.

48-50% of the women should be united in their stand, no matter what.

Who should you date, what should you wear, what should you eat, they want to decide everything for you, then also would abuse you, beat you and etc

This choice should’ve been crystal clear, no matter what.

Abhi Amrutha said something that our festivals should be inclusive, uspe they’re abusing her, putale jala rahe hai

These so called ‘Sanatani’ are the second biggest threat to Hinduism after Radical Islam.

0

u/batman_superman1234 6h ago

You pea sized brain organism with phone and typing abilities. You are changing the topic I am asking for video proof of the things she said she heard from the crowd she is not attacking a individual but a community when she says their books taught them knowing damn well which books teaches what if there is a proof I will apologise asking for evidence does not mean i am defending anyone. And about my political affiliation that you got know for simply asking evidence well that says lot about your biasness and hypocrisy doesn't it.

2

u/Suitable-Pirate-1350 6h ago

itna bol bachchan kar gaya lekin abhi tak criminals ke lie ek bura shabd nahi likh gaya tujhse, sahi hai, yahi toh culture hai, shabash

2

u/batman_superman1234 6h ago

I said in the first comment if you have read it if they have said something like that that they are not less that the rapists themselves and i never commented on the case and about rapists they should punished ofc. My point was that women is claiming to have heard something with no credibility and commenting on their religion just they are chanting modis name.
