Critical Analysis & Discussion Why did we start caring about minor religious tensions like they matter and acting like we are supposed to care for religious sentiments of some snowflakes?
I remember in past people used to look at these minor tensions between religions as kinda foolish, and leave the tensions to those extremists themselves to fight. But these days, I see amplified posts about a Muslim did this in a Hindu temple, Hindus did that to a Masjid, like dude, I don't give a f**k about what those extremists do to themselves, maybe just hope justice is delivered to victim in that isolated case and that's it, because they are no different from any other hate crimes in this country. But these days, those religious extremists started acting like we are supposed to care about these silly incidents and their snow flake sentiments, even people started caring about these stupid sentiments like they are any use to the country. We collectively should stop thinking about these supposedly sentimental things emotionally and stop paying attention to those who want to benefit from these sentiments. We shouldn't be sentimental about any of ts, they are nothing, no use to the country.
And we should even start looking at these like foolish cases which doesn't have any useful impact on this country if they are solved any more than after a hate crime at the end of the street is solved, and even carry negative impact if we, as public who are supposed to develop this country, care about them any more than needed.

What about when the ruling party itself is trying to incite these tensions unlike before?

We should still treat it for what it is, as goondaism from the current party trying to suppress their opposite religion, and we should criticize them for their goondaism and don't vote for them, but I don't see the need to get sentimental about this.

If we don’t get emotional or make enough noise even over small issues, important as they may be, how do u think we can ever convince ppl to vote against them?

We can be rational and still be noisy about it, and use emotions to amplify things. The recent protests are still logically driven even though emotionally amplified, questioning their wrong doings, yet they made an impact. I was talking specifically about religious sentiments and feeling things for the sake of religion which is bad.

Ok. So stop using ig and reddit? People have enormous bite sized info (both real and fake) these days.. It's bound to happen

all this is due to sneaky tactics of religious people.
present trend of the world is religions are trying to take over other religions and cultures and ultimately doing demographic change.
for doing this religious people are not directly fighting each other like in the past.
but are doing it in sneaky ways. Negotiating small changes over time and then completely changing everything over time.
Example onam festivals of Kerala. It was a hindu festivals of kerala, celebrated with hindu gods of Kerala and Hindi traditions of kerala.
Now it is being slowly taken over by non hindus. Slowly hindu gods of Kerala are removed from onam festivals, then hindu traditions of kerala are removed from onam. Then kerala hindu traditional foods of onam are replaced by arabic food.
This way though we still celebrate onam in Kerala but it is not the original hindu onam festival we celebrated 20 years ago.
same is true for removal of jesus and Christian culture from Christmas festival
After seeing such tactics, people have become decided to have zero tolerance policy for interfere of other religions in their religion

Okay, how will solving any of those issues bring any development to this country? People will have their ego satisfied as saviour of their religion, but I don't see any solutions stopping future generations from merging like this. If you had got basic things right like education and empathy in people, it wouldn't have happend in first place, at the same time would have helped in bringing better people to this land. No religious problem can be solved with a religious angle solution, but fixing basic education and empathy can solve them.

who said this has anything to do with develop of country?
there is no correlation or causation between religion and development of country.
people do many things for religion, identity, culture, entertainment, timepass and passion that has nothing to do with productivity or development of country
are you saying everything should be linked to country? (ultra nationalism)
religion and culture has its own place and country and development has its own place. don't mix one with another

I wish they had their own place and people wouldn't drag them into politics which ultimately effects the development of this country.

agreed, if we follow secularism in its true definition. instead of fake Indian definition of secularism
we would have created an environment in india where religion and state would be saparate from each other minding their own business.
but due to do called indian definition of secularism which says respect all religions and allowing religious personal laws. we have ended up here where state and religion often interfere with each other and create alot of politics around religion.

Cultures should still keep evolving and I don't mean the Arab leaning way you mentioned, cultures should be evolved rationally and be more efficient in getting basic things right like human education, empathy, and other useful things rather than useless outdated religious practices.

yes. culture should evolve, upgrade, development , modernize and change with time.
but they should not be destroyed, diluted, replaced or changed to another thing.
there is difference between above two.

Again, getting basic empathy right is the solution, not pointing out fingers, it's gonna do nothing. You don't interfere in others culture because you have empathy to not erode their culture, getting the same thing through education to everyone is the solution, I don't see any use of keep hating on them which solves nothing.

You are creating a false dilemma between development and social harmony.

It's not false dilemma, if social dynamics are bad, they will obviously drag down development, giving priority to their differences rather than useful things

It's a false dilemma between fixing social disharmony and development. Or maybe you didn't mean it the way it reads"How will solving any of these issues bring any development to this country". There is no reason to believe that education and empathy would fix this problem. Teresa was genuinely empathetic to the kids she let succumb by denying them medical treatment and baptizing them in their deathbed. She genuinely believed she was helping them secure the better afterlife in heaven.
The main reason people highlight these communal instances is, for the lack of a better word, statistical parity. The amount of reach such incidences get on legacy media and sm spaces is heavily dependent on the identity of the victim/aggresor. If the elites had themselves in the first place not created this disparity over the decades, we would not have come to this.

Fixing the disharmony wouldnt have been in things to fix list if people had better empathy and understanding of each other's cultures. I was saying educating people with right empathy wouldn't have caused these differences in first place, and ultimately we can focus on better things to do rather than fixing disharmony.

Social harmony is for most part top down. Social harmony was when VHP and AIBMAC were in dialouge and were even closed to an agreement (possibly the 2020 sc verdict status) on Babri but then the RS Sharma, DN Jha, Athar Ali, Suraj Bhan and others derailed it by misleading AIBMAC with no evidence to back their stand.
Hisorians and archeologists Suvira Jaiswal, Shereen Ratnagar, Dhaneshwar Mandal, Supriya Verma, and Jaya Menon told the courts that they were not experts in the field and were only giving their opinions, that they had never visited the archeological site, and not even read the ASI reports and that their conclusions were based on newspaper readings and discussions with other academics.
These were HC's quotes on the academic experts.
"The statements made by him in cross-examination show the shallowness of his knowledge on the subject."
"They are status-backed experts. You have a status, so you speak. They have failed miserably to support their opinions when tested on cross-examination."
"An expert opinion is meant to assist the court, but here the experts have acted with preconceptions. They have given opinions on subjects where they have no research, no field experience, and no special study."
No surprises that the left media never talked about the details of the court proceedings.
