Turns out people can lie. Stop sending crypto to strangers if you don't want to get scammed.

New victims, please read this:
As a rule of thumb: If you suspect the site is a scam, it probably is.
No legit company/trader/investor is using WhatsApp. No legit company/trader/investor is approaching people on dating websites or through a "random" text message.
No legit company/trader/investor has "professors", "assistants", or "teachers". Those are just scammers.
No legit company forces you to pay a "fee" or "taxes" to withdraw money. That's just a scam to suck more money out of you.
You will need to contact law enforcement ASAP.
Unfortunately, no hacker online can get back what you've lost. Please watch out for recovery scams, a follow-up scam done after victims have fallen for an earlier scam. Recently, there has been a rise in scammers DMing members of the subreddit to offer recovery services. A form of the advance-fee, victims are convinced that the scammer can recover their money. This "help" can come in the form of fake hacking services or authorities. For this reason: TRUST NO ONE PRIVATE MESSAGING YOU FROM THIS SUBREDDIT: Most such DMs are from these recovery scammers, folks whose only goal is to further scam recent victims of scams. If someone DMs you offering to help you recover stolen funds or offering to give you contact information for someone who they state might be able to help you, then report these scammers immediately to Reddit.
If you see anyone circumventing the scam filters, please report the submission and we will take action shortly.

Cmon man. Doubling down when you’re wrong is not the move.“It’s a scam!”
“But ‘he’ said…”. Shows Random profile.
“It’s a scam…”
“Look! screenshots of the account!”
“Sigh….It’s a scam!”
“Other people got their money out.”Grab a seat. Take a breath. Ready?
You got scammed.
You were dealing with people who are master manipulators.
You are also very gullible.
You were blinded by greed.
All of that worked against your brain trying to warn you that something was wrong.Take the loss.
Here is your homework:
- Do not answer any DMs about recovery. Block them and move on.
- Remove telegraph from your phone.
- Watch a series of movies. Here is the list. Watch in this order:
The Sting
Glengarry Glen Ross
Wall Street
Boiler Room
The Beekeeper
Everyone is Lying to You for MoneyThe short list is the last three.
Get a real course on crypto. Coinbase used to do tutorials. They still might.
Stop being so trusting.
By the way, that’s my real pic. I didn’t want it to get out, but I want you to know how much I am concerned about a fellow human being getting scammed. So I’m risking a flood of DMs to do this. You owe me. Make me proud.

I know that you want to help others by advertising the name, but since the same scam is being spread with hundreds of different and ever-changing name, this information is less helpful than you might realize, and in fact other information can be much more helpful. Can you help improve your post and its helpfulness to others by telling some important and useful details:
Thanks
