Yeah from what Reeves himself said when asked about the merger (“that’s not the conversation right now”, “don’t know what the future holds” instead of an outright “no not happening”), they’re keeping their options open. Probably still not Plan A, but not completely out of the question.

Watch them do something like: some dcu gotham projects are canon to Reeves Batman and vice versa. With 2 different Batmans. Some characters and actors will randomly cross-over. Like AvP movies are canon to Predator movies but not to Alien movies.
