The Batman Part II Peter Safran when asked if there is a scenario where The Batman: Part II never starts filming again: “No.”

what a hilarious question. of course they’re not just going to throw the 60% filmed movie in the can

Well, scrapping filmed movies is part of the game at Warner Bros. /j
Yeah, I think it was a pretty silly question to ask.

yeah that was a really bleak period! but even then the movies that got scrapped were second-string productions made for HBO max, not massive batman sequels

"Yeah, that was a really bleak"
Let's not act as if Skydance wouldn't be able to do the same if the numbers don't add up for them, I'm not saying that will be the case with The Batman: Part II (which, as far as I understand, is still continuing with its second unit filming), but it could happen to other productions inherited from the WBD regime.

I agree, but I don’t think it’s likely to happen with this film or frankly any film intended for theaters, given the 30-film commitment they’ve been forced to make

I would not call “The Batman” a huge financial success. It is one of the lowest-grossing Batman movies ever, especially adjusted for inflation.

it’s still the highest-grossing DC movie since aquaman

"since Aquaman" is still such a crazy thing to be true.

Batman is different than Batgirl. He is one chracter that WB love so much from DC. They are not going to throw away the movie. Especially since the first movie was successful.
