I currently live in Briggs Chaney, Silver Spring, MD, and work full-time at VHC in Arlington, VA. I work 8-hour shifts, 40 hours a week, with rotating weekends. My salary is about 107k a year (Just got a pay increase !🥰)My commute is about 1 hour and 15 minutes each way, and I also frequently drive to DC for family matters.
My lease ends in April 2027, and I’m considering moving to shorten my commute.I currently pay approximately $1,950/month with utilities included. Ideally, I’d like to find a one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment for under $2,000, but I’m willing to go up to $2,200/month if it makes sense financially. I’d prefer to stay in Maryland rather than move to Virginia (Im not opposed to moving there) What areas would you recommend that are centrally located for commuting to Arlington and getting to DC? Or should I just stay in Silver Spring and invest in an EZ Pass? 😂

Moved to the area fairly recently, and wanting to get an upper back/neck massage for the first time (in the area and ever) to help with some stiffness and terrible posture, but I have no clue where to go or what to look for.
