It’s the result of a constructed reservoir. Dam a river to make a “lake.” There are many impounded rivers that have this similar shape. Lake of the Ozarks in MO (USA) is another dragon-like reservoir.

We have one just like this in Michigan as well. There's a trail that goes around it literally called The Dragon Trail.

Yep, I’m from Nashville. That’s Old Hickory Lake! It’s the dammed up portion of The Cumberland River

There a ton in TN and all over the southeast, mostly all TVA projects. Lived near Tim's Ford Lake for a while, same thing

so same like the famous "Blue Dragon" Odeleite River reservoir in Portugal.

When I opened this video I first that that I was looking at Odeleite and only then noticed that "Wait, those are not Portuguese city names"

I was waiting to see if someone would say my home lake. We used to call it a dragon lake sometimes because it looked like it because of the damming

Where can I get some dam bait?

first you need to decide what kind of core you want for the dam and get that then you need your concrete...

Made the Snell family real crotchety about it too.

I lived in a small town in Alabama (Wedowee) that was exactly that and the lake incredibly dragon-like.

It took me a second to realize that this was NOT loto. Lots of the towns around are actually similarly named. (Missouri is not good at original town names)
