Rollerblading in Darmstadt as a beginner

Hi, I am 20F studying in Darmstadt and want to get into rollerblading. I checked out the University sport clubs but they only offer inline hockey and Rollkunstlauf. I tried practicing a couple times and realized i had underestimated the sport. I am struggling to get the hang of it and really need directions on how to get better.

Is there anyone that wants to learn together or just meet up in general for rollerblading? I am also starting my 1st semester and need new friends ;)))

I love rollerblading but the streets and sidewalks are so bad here. It feels like the worst city for he sport :(

How and where do you normally rollerblade then? (If you don't mind me asking)

When I am at my parents in the south. I got myself a cross bike for this city. ;_;
