Discussion Which ambient/instrumental work do you consider better, "Heroes" or Low?

i also prefer "heroes", both in instrumentals (few things are as hauntingly pretty as "moss garden") and as an album overall

I listened to the entire Low album just today. It has such beautiful and also haunting music on it. It truly was so far ahead of its time. Funny enough, I also listened to the NIN/Tron soundtrack and feel that several songs from Low could have been on it. A new career in a new town is also very reminiscent of something from Black Star, probably the harmonica. Just a brilliant album, one of my favorties.

'Sense of Doubt' is my favorite of all his instrumentals but I prefer the ambience of 'Low'.

I definitely love the Low instrumentals more but if I really had to choose one then I’m going with the Heroes instrumentals

Low. I do like the instrumentals on “Heroes”. I just wish he had come up with another one to end the album with so it matched Lows concept of instrumentals on Side 2.
I like The Secret Life Of Arabia but I don’t think it works coming after those moody instrumental pieces. I would have preferred Arabia to have ended up on Lodger. It feels more like a Lodger track to me, and I would have stuck it on there and ditched Move On.
