Discomfort of not being able to articulate in words an extremely specific feeling
I’m not talking about feeling anger or joy or any emotions that can be easily displayed on one’s face.
I’m not necessarily talking about the basic feelings of anger, joy or sadness (while all of it could probably be dumbed down to those kinds of feelings) but more about the feeling that a certain song gives you the more you listen to it or the smell of something from your childhood that you know your nostalgic about but it feels like more than just nostalgia.
I want so badly to put a label on all of these complex internal feelings but I don’t know what I’m feeling and without being able to name them I feel a sense of discomfort like it’s so close but intangible.
Im aware of the fact that the reason for this may be because I’m simply not educated enough to put my feelings into the correct words but it’s become a serious chunk of my daily brainpower trying to do just that.
Does anyone else feel this way about anything?

Fret not! There are a couple words that may describe the feeling you seek:
Saudade — a bittersweet longing for someone or something absent, often something you may never experience again.
Hiraeth — a Welsh word describing a deep longing for a home, time, or sense of belonging that may be lost or impossible to return to.

The number of emotions you can experience at one time is infinite when you are a genuine soul, most people do live as their genuine self at times, not knowing who you are and individuating as Jung puts it makes you unsure of what you feel at times that you are experiencing singular feelings and not your true genuine self.

I understand you completely. What I hate is being able to articulate perfectly. And not being able to process those feeling so I can set them free. Sometimes just feeling it is enough. Sometimes not delving in to much is better than over thinking.

No, I don't.
There are feelings and emotions that simply do not fit in the small boxes we call words ! That's what poets have been trying to do for millennia.
Better to focus on the feeling you're feeling. Feel it with all your being, everywhere in your body and heart.
See what there is to appreciate and learn from it.

this is why i keep a notes app full of half finished sentences that just trail off like "its that thing when the light hits the carpet at 4pm and youre 9 again but also terrified"
not knowing the word isnt a lack of education, language just hasnt caught up to whatever that frequency is yet
