If I open up Adobe Illustrator and add a red circle, then save it as "red_button.jpg", then it can be said I made a graphic.
That graphic file would not exist without my effort, even if some people say that effort is small.
You used a different tool to create your graphic, with different techniques to manifest it.
It was still your idea, your curation and re-attempts/tweaks to get it where you want, and the image would not exist without your efforts.
You made a thing.
