Anyone tried Dutch Language Lab in Delft?
Hey everyone,
I’m thinking about enrolling at the Dutch Language Lab to continue learning Dutch, since the TU Delft Dutch courses I'm interested in are fully booked.
Has anyone here taken courses there? If so, how was your experience? Would you recommend it?

Hello! I'm currently enrolled in an intensive course at TU Delft, and I love it! It really is intensive, and you'll be conversing a lot during class. It’s 4x a week class. The teachers are great.

By intensive do you mean it is full time or can you combine it with work? And is this only available for TU Delft students?

The intensive one is a full-time course, 40 hours a week for 5 weeks, so no, you can’t combine it with work. BUT they also offer a less intensive one for people who have work. It’s 2 classes a week for 7 weeks.
It’s open to everyone. You don’t need to be a TU Delft student, I’m not one.

No worries, check the online website so you can see the availability, sometimes there’s a waiting list. Best of luck!

I did a full time Dutch language course at TU Delft in 2011. The course demands full dedication, I forgot to even speak proper English in middle of the course, as this course is immersive.
However, this course will set you up for minimal C1, after you fully complete it. It is a game changer and I would highly recommend it. I am right now fluent and it doesnt matter if someone speaks English or Dutch in any situation, I feel at home!
