I hope this community is acceptable for this topic - sorry if it's not. I just went and saw the brand new documentary called Musk by Alex Gibney and let me tell you Leon is getting exposed! He has threatened Gibney with a lawsuit over this film and was basically told to go for it because discovery is a thing! I 100% believe he interfered in the 2024 election and possibly earlier ones as well. He's directly responsible for decimating the government workforce and in my mind , the worst thing he did was dismantle USAID which has already resulted in thousands of people dying - mostly kids - and will undoubtedly lead to many more. Anyway, please support this excellent film and make sure the word is spread about what a complete waste of skin this malignant narcissist is.

I want to see it, but I find the man so personally loathsome I won't enjoy that much time with him on film. I would literally rather eat bugs than watch Musk onscreen for 3 hours or whatever.

Knowledge is power in 2026. I'd argue it's a civic duty to be properly informed with the threat they possess. No body really likes him but these are "unprecedented times"... again^5.

Do what you want obv, but just know, choosing sit out of gaining knowledge against the worlds most psychotic & wealthy oppressor isn’t really a smart move long-term. He’s not going away anytime soon. And if you understood how dangerous he is, perhaps you’d understand why It’s important to know what we are up against, IF we actually care about progress that is. He is full blown Nazi who wants apartheid for America & helped to control the polls last presidential election & you’re good with staying ignorant to it all? 😭

Maybe you have so much privilege that you don’t have to be uncomfortable or push yourself to learn about the actual horrors that impact ppl you may not know or understand but.…that’s how we got here dude.

We wondered about that too but there is an intermission of 10 minutes in the middle and it was pretty entertaining so time, as they say, flew by.

God damn the USAID part of the film was truly gut wrenching. I just wished Gibney had pointed out the personal vendetta Musk had against the agency for their role in ending apartheid (Musk has made public comments about it, so it was fair game), instead of treating it like just another DOGE casualty. But that would have veered too close to addressing Musk's racism, which Gibney avoids to a fault.
