Mod Hey! Read this!!

Okay people. Few little things for the sub.

I apologise for the lack of activity on my end lately. I've been dealing with some personal stuff but im back now and ready to post some truly terrifying porch talk ๐Ÿ˜‚

This is a post I'd like our repeat lurkers to interact with as I'm really stuck with coming up with new ideas.

So, if anyone has any suggestions for any events/changes you'd like to see please put them in the comments of this post or modmail.

I want this subreddit to be community ran, this is a safe space so all opinions on what we should do are welcome.

I'm also all about community building so im gonna try to get some more conversation based posts going so we can all get to know eachother better!

Good to know! I though maybe new subs die if they don't get enough activity. Good to know that there is a Reddit algorithym that promotes the sub

Doesnt have to be promotion. While that would be great im interested in just making what we're doing better for those already here.

Then when its super cool you get to say your an OG and troll the new guys.

Even if its just like a fun event you think we should do or a change in the flairs im happy to hear it

Okay, that works for me because I'm lazy AF lol. I will just continue to lurk and maybe one day someone will post an OG quote from Dead Wolf Black and it will put a smile on my face

...hey

I'm extremely sorry, but I thought that reddit starts promoting subreddits on its own, and that's why I said it's not needed to promote too much. Moreso I did that also because I was afraid the moderatorship might get out of hand, but I didn't anticipate the opposite of it being the subreddit dying may possibly happen too

Please forgive me, I didn't want to ruin things up

No problem! I think with anything in life, whether it's starting a new music band, opening a new restaurant or business, or making a new sub here on Reddit ๐Ÿ˜€ I think that you have to really promote it hard at the beginning so it doesn't die. I hang out on a sub a lot called casual conversation, but a lot of times my comments get deleted there because they don't really allow for the creative stuff that I'm into, they consider it too extreme. I liked this sub because the content was more up my alley.

๐Ÿซก I'll have to find whoever promoted us and give them a gold star

Hey, theres a subreddit calledย r/DigitalPorchย its pretty small but people there talk about any sorta late night thoughts, questions and share hobbies and stuff.

Its not perfect but I think its got potential to be a good like safe space to just make friends and have a good time

It has like a cozy back porch feeling to it.
