It's a remaster with better pacing and much better touch up animation combined with brand new animation. Sort of an apology for the awful first couple arcs of the original Super Anime. Check it out episode one was great

Only Fox deal I remember was them getting western distribution rights to DB films, I believe as an apology for Evolution. Though that seemed to end after being bought

Disney has nothing to do with movie rights. That was only for Fox and it ended with the acquisition. That's why Super Hero got released by Crunchyroll.
