PlateTracker: real resale prices for every Displate Limited Edition
Hi all! I've been working on a site that makes it easy to look up what a Limited Edition really goes for on the secondary market: platetracker.net
A few things the data shows
Across the 196 plates with a current price, the median resale is +35% over retail, and about 3 in 4 resell above what Displate charged.
Recent drops are doing best. 2025 and 2026 editions sit at a median of +60–67%, while 2022 and 2023 editions are barely above retail (+6–8%).
Star Wars is the biggest market by far, with $550K in resales across its 27 editions. Next come Jonna Hyttinen ($219K) and Cyberpunk 2077 ($157K).
All told: $3.77M in recorded resales.
What's on it
Every Limited Edition. All 431 so far (361 LEs, 51 ULEs, 15 Luminos and 4 event exclusives), each with its own page: the last sale, the median of the last 5, and a chart of every recorded sale back to February 2021.
The price the buyer paid, not the asking price. About a third of fixed-price eBay sales go for less than the listing shows, because the seller accepted an offer. Where it can, the site uses eBay's own sales data (Terapeak). Recent sales link to the listing, a snapshot of the page and the sale record, so you can check any number yourself.
A market page with resale volume by month, how each type and release year does against retail, and the best, worst and most traded plates.
Franchise and artist pages for everyone with more than one edition (Star Wars, Marvel, Arcane, Jonna Hyttinen, Tobias Roetsch…). Each shows their whole lineup and how it's held up.
Copies left at Displate for editions still on sale, checked every 6 hours. You can see how fast each one is selling, how many a day it'd need to sell out, and an "on pace to sell out" badge when the pace really supports it.
Did it sell out? For older editions I went through archived copies of Displate's own stock counts. 222 editions sold out before their window closed, and 70 closed with copies left. Displate's site doesn't show this, because it labels every closed edition "sold out".
Saved plates. Star the ones you own or are watching and filter the gallery to just those. They're stored in your browser, so there's no account needed.
Updated every week, with a changes page showing what was added.
Where the data comes from
Almost all of the history (13,850 of the 13,927 sales) comes from the community spreadsheet that has logged Displate eBay sales since February 2021. Huge credit to its maintainer for years of careful work; the site links the sheet on every page. Newer sales are read from eBay directly.
It's free, with no ads and no account. It isn't affiliated with Displate or eBay, and the prices are past sales, not appraisals.
If something looks wrong (a sale on the wrong plate, a price that seems off, a missing edition), there's a feedback link on every page. I'd also love to hear what would make it more useful.
