Newtowncunningham Shore area

When I was in primary school, we used to take a yearly walk (or 7-seater car ride if you were too lazy) to a shore nearby Newtowncunningham. Fast forward X amount of years, I’m wondering what this shore is. I can’t recall a name as it was just called “the shore”. Would anybody have a notion about what it might’ve been? It was surely by salt water as it had sand, and it was only an hours walk from the primary school Moyle National School. Any ideas about directions to it as I’d love to visit again. Thanks.

Is it the quay shore in Newtown? Up beyond the Moyle school. About a half hour walk from the school though according to google maps.
