r/Donegal, where do you actually like to eat in Donegal?

Hi, we’re four friends putting together restaurants across Donegal in an app called Vota.

The idea is simple: you’re shown two restaurants and choose where you’d rather eat. For example, in Letterkenny: The Lemon Tree or Pat’s Pizza? The votes create a ranking that we hope gives a better picture of where people actually enjoy eating.

We’re trying to include as many restaurants as possible and clean up duplicate or outdated listings, but locals will spot things we’ve missed.

Full transparency: we’re not from Donegal. Two of us live in Copenhagen and two in Gothenburg. The four of us are building Vota independently. We don’t collect or sell personal data, there are no ads in the app, and we don’t use AI-generated restaurant descriptions.

Any honest feedback is welcome, especially if restaurants are missing or something is listed incorrectly. Where do you like to eat in Donegal?
