Is Churchill Downs Drake’s Best Feature?
Had a debate last night with my friends on what Drake’s best rap/lyrical feature and on of them said Churchill Downs. My initial reaction was in disbelief that they thought that but then we went down a long rabbit hole of Drake features and couldn’t really find one that was better.
Now I’m coming to Reddit to see what yall think!

Lyrically it’s up there but Gold Roses has some amazing lyricism too
Overall it’s not though imo, I’d easily put Going Bad over this for the effortless verse and that perfect hook

I don't know, but I can tell you my three favorites are:
- Churchill Downs
- Wasting Time
- Splash Brothers (unreleased/verse omitted)

It’s S Tier easily. One of my recent favorites, but it’s damn near impossible to pick one after 20 years in the game.

Dunno if it's cap, but I heard it was written in a single day? I chose to believe it's true.

This came at an interesting time cause he foreshadowed everything that’s happened the past couple years.
The nigga literally talked about him going to therapy for abandonment issues. And people have the nerve to say he never gets introspective or talks about his personal life LOL

Lol I love the boy, but "nobody says Drake is ever in his feelings on a track" is a hard sell.

There are people that actually believe the dude doesn’t go in-depth in his life. That he’s just some braggadocio rapper that cosplays as a gangster who flaunts all the time, which obviously ain’t true

All I hear is plug talk from middle men, all I hear is tall tales from little men.

I do think this was Drake’s best verse on a song not his own. Really showed the respect he had for Jack. He really thought Jack could take the crown someday. Idk wtf Jack’s been doing tho.

Yes. “Praying on my downfall don’t make you religious” is one of the coldest lines he’s inked up.

This may draw criticism, yet for me personally, it is Poetic Justice. That track remains a masterpiece. Drizzy and Kenny might have formed a strong duo had Kendrick not pushed the conflict.

It’s my second favorite Drake song. He and Jack are just rapping. No subliminal beef, rage, nonsense. Just a great beat and two guys flexing their talent 🤷🏼

in my opinion yes, easily. not only do i think it's his best feature, i think it's one of his best verses ever. i can't believe he used it on a song that wasn't his own

There are too many S tier features to pick just one. Especially when he has amazing features in different genres
