Zero Fox is Open!

Hi neighbors! We’re excited to finally say that Zero Fox is open on York & Ave 46!
We’re a family-owned and operated neighborhood restaurant serving breakfast & brunch, coffee, drinks, and more. We just wrapped up our soft opening and are excited to finally welcome everyone in.
Right now we’re open for breakfast and brunch, with our evening menu and extended hours launching very soon — just in time for Dodgers playoff baseball. We’ve got plenty of TVs, so we’re hoping to become a fun neighborhood spot to catch the games, grab some food, or have a drink.
We’re at 4607 York Blvd. If you’re in the neighborhood, come say hi! We’d genuinely love to meet more of the community and hear what you think. Here is our Website with Menu

I love the ethos behind your restaurant! But I am disappointed by the lack of plant-based food options. I would love to come by and support but there’s nothing for me to eat 🥲

I’m a long time vegetarian—I see a few things that are vegetarian and a few things that could be modified to fit a plant-based diet…
If it says eggs, then order without eggs!

Correct, and I’m going to work with the team to try to get a specific section on the menu. Thanks for the feedback!

I appreciate it!

That would be fabulous! Ordering with “no egg” isn’t really an option I would ever choose, especially with the standard in the area being so much higher

Get rid of the tv’s, what is it sports bar?

u/Dull_Lingonberry_875 Sep 18 '26

No eggs, no cheese, no aioli, but still paying the same price? No thanks 🥲 I would much rather support a restaurant that has thoughtful replacements

Congrats! Great to see this part of York getting more restaurants. Look forward to coming by and hope you have a lot of success!

Congrats! Can’t wait to come by! Walk ins only or can we make reservations? I don’t see a resy or open table linked on the site

2

u/rherre55 Sep 17 '26

Walk ins are welcome anytime!:) We’re still ironing out those details along with our online ordering that should be available soon

Cool! Ty!!

What are your hours?

2

u/rherre55 Sep 18 '26

Currently 8am-3pm. Evening hours going to be rolling out within the next couple of weeks, thanks!

Walked by, they had a menu out with no costs on it. I kept walking.

Yeah, I saw that too. What gives OP?

1

u/oldnotosys 16d ago

Probably tax fraud.

I feel like you guys are in a good position to make a drink I would be really excited for. I am a bigggg iced tea drinker, but it would be awesome to do a half iced tea, half agua Fresca drink. Kind of like how Amara in HLP has a matcha rose palmer.

Congrats on opening! Echoing that a solid vegan option or two would be a welcome addition to the menu and worth considering if ever you want to open up to that community as clientele.

3

u/ArthurBea Sep 17 '26

Can you tell us what’s going on with your gluten free options? Seeing as how I have an allergy.

3

u/mlabbq Sep 18 '26

Yeah - likewise

2

u/sundayfunday 28d ago

Yeah, I would also be curious about this

Congratulations and welcome to the neighborhood! You should cross post this in the Eagle Rock and Highland Park neighborhood FB groups too if you haven’t already.

Congratulations! I remember getting your letter for your application for a liquor license in the mail! Can’t wait to be a regular.

2

u/doggyschiller Sep 17 '26

Congrats! Bummed that there’s not a single vegan option on the brunch menu 😕 Will the evening menu have anything?

5

u/strumthebuilding Sep 17 '26

Sorry you’re getting downvoted just for being vegan.

4

u/doggyschiller Sep 17 '26

Aw thanks! Happens every time. I dgaf what anyone else eats but apparently that only goes one way lol

1

u/strumthebuilding Sep 18 '26

When I was vegan I used to catch so much shit from people who were uncomfortable with what I didn’t eat. Often it was retribution for some perceived insult from some other vegan who may or may not have even existed.

I agree and avoid these types of restaurants

This is right around the corner from me! Very excited to come through. I work for a wine distributor so if you’re in the market for new wines in the future let me know!

u/roberthelafollette 28d ago

Ai food photos?

2

u/rherre55 28d ago

Lol no they were taken by a real person. The rest of the photos going up tomorrow!:)

-1

u/howfuckingromantic Sep 17 '26

Sad to see no vegan food options :( if you add a few good ones (not just avocado toast or basics) would definitely stop by!

4

u/Dull_Lingonberry_875 Sep 17 '26

Seconded, I hate having to take items off of a plate and still pay the same price

-1

u/pretentiousunicorn Sep 17 '26

Yeah that's honestly pathetic to have zero vegan food options

2

u/Unhappy-Elderberry82 Sep 17 '26

Congratulations! See you for some Dodgers playoff games! (Got any N/A beers on offer? Not a deal breaker …)

0

u/roberthelafollette Sep 18 '26

TV’s - no thanks

0

u/strumthebuilding Sep 17 '26

Hey, can we get some information about your hours, please? I’d like to walk over for a morning coffee but I have no idea if you’ll even be open .

2

u/rherre55 Sep 18 '26

Hey! We’d love for you to swing by for your morning coffee, I think you’ll love it. We open at 8am during the week and 7am on weekends. We have charging stations throughout for morning work and study sessions, thanks!

1

u/strumthebuilding Sep 18 '26

Good to know, thanks
