Bag/Pocket Dump Work, Coffee, Books and Games

I work as a continuous improvement lead, and this is my carry setup for work and downtime: a mix of tech, reading, coffee and games. I carry different combinations of these items depending on the day, rather than taking everything with me every time.

My main bag is a Thule Subterra 2 27L backpack (though I sometimes switch to a Samsonite Openroad, Securipak or CityVibe), with cables, power banks and smaller accessories organized in small tomtoc pouches.

  • 14-inch MacBook Pro with M5 Pro
  • KIOXIA 1TB external SSD
  • iPad Air M2 + Magic Keyboard / folio case — folio when carrying the MacBook, Magic Keyboard when the iPad is my only computer.
  • Apple Pencil
  • iPhone 18 Pro Max + PITAKA case + MOFT stand
  • Samsung Galaxy A06 — for local apps unavailable through my Turkish App Store account, plus Android apps and APKs.
  • 2 × S-Link 10,000mAh power banks
  • USB-C cable and adapter kit
  • Sony WH-1000XM6
  • Huawei FreeClip 2
  • Prada sunglasses
  • Fitbit Air
  • Casio G-Shock GA-2100
  • Logitech vertical mouse / Apple Magic Mouse — Logitech when space allows; Magic Mouse for portability.
  • Nintendo Switch Lite / Xbox Wireless Controller — not pictured. I kept remembering things after each photo, and eventually decided I was done unpacking the bag.
  • Kobo Clara BW + Kobo Remote + MagSafe-compatible case — for hands-free reading with a magnetic stand.
  • Sea Salt & Paper / Saboteur / Deep Sea Adventure / Monopoly Deal / Agatha Christie: Death on the Cards — I rotate between these small games depending on the day.
  • 2 decks of playing cards
  • Lamy, Kaweco and Parker fountain pens
  • Pocket notebook
  • Stanley GO Quick Flip 0.47L bottle — hot water for the Wacaco, or filter coffee from home on work mornings.
  • Wacaco Minipresso NS2 + coffee capsules
  • 2 carabiners — for attaching a cap or bottle when needed.

My work setup is fairly consistent. For walks, I trim it down based on the route, time available and whether I’m planning a café stop.

My god, this is the most "tech bro" EDC I have seen on here in a while. The "café stop" really ties it all together nicely. That being said, cool EDC.

Edit: Also I love Macbooks and Sony MDR's have a damn upvote!

How's the coffee out of the minipresso?

It’s not as good as the machines you have at home, but for a portable device, it’s very good. It’s become indispensable for me—especially in an office where the only coffee option is Nescafé—so I carry it with me every single day.
