EIU at 1-4 after a brutal road stretch, bye week before conference play at Gardner-Webb (plus a free CFB pick'em)

Hey guys, quick look at where the Panthers stand on the bye week.

First, since it's in the title: we run a free weekly college football pick'em. This week is 10 games, pick the winners, nothing to buy, $135 in prizes. Michigan at Minnesota is on the slate if you want to weigh in on the Gophers. Picks lock Saturday at noon ET, so here's something to do on the bye week.

Now the Panthers. 1-4 needs context: four of five games on the road, including at FBS Minnesota, at No. 5 Illinois State and at No. 2 South Dakota State. The only home game was a 42-35 shootout loss to Indiana State, and the season opened with a 28-14 win at Murray State.

The bye comes at the right time. Then the schedule opens up: at Gardner-Webb on Oct 10, followed by Lindenwood and SEMO at home in Charleston.

What are you guys seeing from Cole LaCrue and the offense? With the gauntlet behind them, can EIU make a run?
