They gave up one goal, and the Kings got a lucky bounce on that! What game were you watching? LA was on the outside MOST of the game, and rarely got two whacks on a play.
Was time of possession in the Oilers zone slanted in the Kings favour? Yup, but that's what makes it a good defensive game for the Oilers.
I'm not sure how you define "defense was ass," but last night's game sure wasn't it
The thing is when you give up 40 shots you're gonna get some lucky bounces. We got lucky that one shot bounces off Levi and trickled to the side of the net instead of inside it. We got lucky that Kempe missed the puck on the PP.
I think the defense was good, but we got a 3 goal lead and then kind of stopped looking for any offense, so we just lived in our d zone.
