Science How Can You Look Right at Something and Still Miss It?

https://youtu.be/Virer2zhG4U

A short visual essay on inattentional blindness and the limits of human attention.

It covers the classic invisible gorilla experiment, the radiologist CT-scan study, perceptual load, expertise, and some of the more recent research on what “not noticing” actually means.

I have a BSc in Psychology and recently started making these research-based psychology / cognitive science videos. This is the first one, so feedback is definitely welcome.

First video I’ve made in this format, so I’d genuinely be interested in feedback (especially on the pacing and how much detail feels right for this kind of science video)!
