Question Faith build feels like a sword and board run, what i miss?

Hi all, i was curiuos about some of the OP stuff i see happening with faith weapons so I've built up as you see in the picture. Rn it seems to be all STR and pretty typical sword stuff with bonus stealth and sneak skills. I grabbed the erdtree bow but it isn't changing the game much.

What have i missed and how can i make 'true' faith build?

Im trying to avoid another Bhf run through Stormveil, please help!

Question I've never played a Bleed build, and now I want to I think

So I've never played a bleed build, never used the Bloodhounds Fang or Rivers of Blood, and now I want to try out a bleed build.

However, I was looking at weapons other than these two, mainly Naginata and Milady.

My current ideas are dex as main attribute, and either arcane or faith as secondary.

dex/fth: Keen Naginata with Bloodflame blade or Milady with Bloodflame blade

dex/arc: Bleed/Occult Naginata or Blood Milady

If I go Faith, I would probably use other buffs like Black Flame Blade etc.

I like using some spells from time to time, but I would be fine with my build being mainly a melee build.

Would appreciate any thoughts or inputs :)

EDIT: Milady would have Wing Stance

Question Planning on adding Rellana's Twin blades to my Lvl 205 Fundementalist Faith build - would these stats be good?

Post image
7 Upvotes

Weapons: Shadow Sunflower Blossom, Fire Knight's Sword, Smithscript Greathammmer, Smithscript Throwing knives, Rellana's Twinblades and Erdtree Seal.

Wondering if the bare minimum of strength and dex needed for my weapons would be fine, so I can eke out enough points in Int to improve the magic side of the weapon art - or should I keep some more strength for the Blossom? Also wondering whether I should swap to the Golden Order seal despite the drop in Incant scaling.

  • Talismans: Rotten Winged Sword Insignia; Green Turtle Talisman (to be replaced with Enraged Divine Beast in the DLC); Ritual Sword Talisman (to be replaced with Shard of Alexander at Farum Azula); Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman (can be left as is, or replaced with either Two-Handed Sword Talisman or Two-Headed Turtle Talisman), depending on your needs.
  • Physick flask: Thorny Cracked Tear + Greenspill Crystal Tear (the Greenburst Crystal Tear is probably better, but I forgot to get it before this fight).

Question Nagakiba build

For those of you who did a bleed build, did you run the nagakiba the whole game? If not what did you switch to mid/late game? Also I’d love to see your late game builds. I love seeing what other people run

PvE ELDEN RING: Berserker Build (The Strongest Tankiest Roariest Bloodiest Bonkiest Berserkeriest Build)

Thumbnail
youtu.be
28 Upvotes

This high-risk, high-reward Giant-Crusher berserker build combines the massive blood loss buildup of a bleed build, the big damage of a roar build, and the tankiness of an Endure build to give you the strongest and tankiest roar-bleed build possible with 99 STR. This results in a berserker playstyle where you become an unstoppable force of mass bonkage as you trade, dealing thousands of physical damage and inflicting hundreds of bleed buildup per bonk.

Stats:
RL 200
60 VIG
27 END
99 STR
60 ARC

Class:
Hero (best stat-wise)

Talismans:
Axe Talisman (10% charged attacks)
Two-Handed Swordman (15% two-handed attacks)
Roar Medallion (15% roar damage)
Lord of Blood's Exultation (20% damage when bleed occurs for 30 seconds)

Weapon:
Giant-Crusher (left-hand)
Ash of War: Braggart's Roar
Affinity: Blood

Highland Axe (right-hand)
Passive: 10% roar damage

Physick:
Spiked Cracked Tear (15% charged attack damage)
Bloodsucking Cracked Tear (20% damage but 1% HP loss per second)

Consumable:
Bloodboil Aromatic (30% physical damage, 20% stamina, and +5/s stamina but -20% damage negation for 60 seconds)
Pickled Turtle Neck (10/s stamina for 60 seconds)

Great Rune:
Radahn's (15% increase to HP/FP/Stamina)

Summon:
Stormhawk Deenh (20% physical/stamina/stance damage for 60 seconds)

Strongest Bleed Build:
I call this the strongest because you have 99 STR, whereas most other bleed builds that claim to be the strongest focus on DEX and fast multi-hit attacks to stack successive damage buffs. This build instead relies on tanking the boss's attacks and trading their attacks as you hit them as hard as you can with your first hit, so it instantly bleeds, and then hitting them harder with your second.

Left-Hand Weapon Buff and Right Hand Active Skill:
I use the Giant-Crusher in my left hand so I can use Endure with the weapon in my right hand without removing the weapon buff of Braggart's War from my left-hand weapon. I can then combo them togther to cast Endure to gain its defenses as I then two-hand my left-hand weapon, which still has its Braggart's Roar weapon buff, to do an uninterrupted high-defense buffed altered charged attack, letting you safely trade with bosses.

Endure Buff:
With Endure, you gain massive amounts of poise so you can't be interrupted out of your altered charged attack. Also, you gain a large boost to your damage negation, which helps counter Bloodboil Aromatic's reduced damage negation debuff.

Status Multiplier:
Braggart's Roar has a status multiplier for its altered attack. The value depends on the weapon type, ranging from 1.5x to 3.0x. For the Giant-Crusher, you gain access to the full 3.0x multiplier. Colossal Hammers have the highest bleed buildup of any weapon type; with 60 ARC, you will inflict a ridiculous 496 bleed per bonk. This is enough to instantly pop bleed on most bosses with your first bonk.

Stackable Damage:
The meat of your damage comes from the various damage buffs you have stacking with each other. This is because the altered heavy attack of Braggart's Roar is treated as both a roar attack and a charged attack. Slap on Blood Affinity, and you can also take full advantage of the buffs you normally get from a Bleed Build from items like the Lord of Blood's Exultation. The Bloodsucking Tear, Bloodboil Aromatic, and Stormhawk Deenh's buff further help boost your physical damage ceiling while further fitting the Berserker theme of this build.

Stance Breaking:
A charged heavy attack of Giant-Crusher normally does 42 stance damage. When you two-hand it, it increases by 10%. This is further increased by 20% with Deenh's buff. Lastly, the running animation of Braggart's Roar deals 3 stance damage. This is because the running animation can hit enemies 3 times, with each hit dealing 1 stance damage. This results in a total of 58 possible stance damage with each altered charged attack.

Highland Axe Passive:
When equipped, the Highland Axe provides a passive 10% roar damage. This effect even applies if you are two-handing your left-hand weapon. For its Ash of War, you will need Endure so you can cast to perform an uninterrupted two-handed altered charged attack with your left-hand weapon.

Deenh Aura Buff:
Stormhawk Deenh is a big part of this build because Deenh casts an aura buff that increases your physical and stance damage by 20% for 60 seconds.

Conclusion:
This berserker build is very simple, with you trading hits with your altered charged attacks until whatever you are bonking is dead. Using Endure in your right hand will let you mix in the buff of its high damage negation and poise during your long altered charged attack animation, turning you into an unstoppable force of mass bonkage. The instant bleed pops that come with each bonk add extra flavor to the already big physical damage you are dealing. If the boss is still standing, they are already close to having their stance broken, so you can finish them off with a critical hit or use that opening to deliver another bloody bonk.

PvE Sorcery & Shields

I’m currently using the Jellyfish Shield just because the unique skill on it gives you an overall damage buff but I was curious are there better shield options for someone who’s using sorceries and would like to use a shield to compliment the build? I wasn’t sure if having the additional 20 str to hold the JF shield was worth it?

Discussion Good talismans/spells for Meteor Ore Katana

I just found the thing in Caelid and I think it's just so damn cool that I respecced to make a build around it. I have the majority of all the spells you can find in the first three regions, as far as I know. I'd like to go str/dex/int sorta evenly but focus on melee and I'm still loving the buff incantations so I have my faith up to 20. RL 84 rn, open to any and all suggestions!

Question Help with Lvl 90 Faith Build

I just made a new character and leveled her to 90, starting as a Prophet! It’s been a while since I’ve played a caster.

I mainly play co-op, so I’m looking for a build that can support my teammates, handle melee invaders, and still dish out solid incantation damage against bosses.

Any recommendations for stats, incantations, weapons/seals, flask allocation, and talismans? I’d love to be a little tankier, too, so I’m planning to invest in Vigor and Endurance. How much Vigor would you recommend at level 90?

Bonus question: What are some good melee options for when I end up in a 1v1 against an invader?

Thanks in advance for any advice! I appreciate the help! 💖

Help Making a really cursed build (help)

Hookclaws with bloodhound step ash of war, but using magic affinity, and staff of loss in the other hand. My vision for the build is:
• Teleports behind you
• Slaps with giant ass spell
• Swap to double hookclaws and start calling everyone bub
• Slashy slashy
• Dash out, repeat
It’s very bad so far but I really want to make it good. So far I’m largely scaled into INT and DEX but I’m still decently low level, somewhere in the 60s. On the flip side, zero leveling put into ARC and FAI since the beginning of the game. Problem is I know nothing about how to set up some sort of synergetic kit because I know very little about available items/abilities in this game, or how different mechanics blend. First fromsoft game for me, after all!

Help Help with a “quality build” for colossal weapons

Hi. First time posting here.

I suck at making builds and I overthink everything so I was wondering if someone good at theorycrafting could help me make a “quality build” of sorts, but for colossal weapons.

Basically I want to do a run using comically oversized weapons and there are a lot of them, most strength based, but scaling in other stats as well.

Basically you know how quality builds are like the king of variety? Like they can use a wide arsenal?

Like that but one that lets me wield as many colossal weapons as possible.

If its possible I would like:

The stats at level 150 for a good reference point and order of focus for each.

The talismans,

Buffs, spells and tears for the wondrous physik.

And some good fashion if you have any ideas.

I don’t know if its a silly ask and I should be making this myself, but I am really bad at it.

It would be appreciated if you could help me with this.

Help Is a Level 150 Int/Arc build even possible and good?

I am simply running out of builds to do that feels unique and fun, I've done

- Pure STR

- Pure DEX

- STR/DEX Quality

- Pure INT

- Pure FTH

- STR/FTH

- STR/INT

- INT/FTH

- Dragon Communion

- Pyromancer/Pure Fire

I'm working on a STR/ARC right now, gonna attempt pure ARC after, and I might redo a DEX/ARC I just am worried it'll make the game too easy. Now, I'm curious if INT/ARC is even possible and strong. I'm looking for something unique but viable and good. Nothing like game breaking of course but I'm curious.

I just want new build ideas in general.

PvE Treespear guard counter build advice

Been trying to make a treespear guard counter build and I’m struggling with stats. I decided to go with brass shield and barricade shield to avoid over investment in str, but I’m still feeling spread thin.

I had to bump up to 30 end to keep from running out of stamina. Pushed vigor bc I was dying when I did. Wanted to split faith and dex so I could do incants and buffs but it’s starting to feel like I’m just mid at everything.

Is there a way to make this work, or is this build just gonna be too spread out to work?

PvE Fire to reset Frost and releted builds

Hi everybody,

I got that at every reset, reapplying frost is harder. But still there are many builds online showing that this is not a real issue and bosses are still melted by flame (and blood) and frost combos.

I hope for some sort of definitive point about it. There are two kind of builds I would like to try, having both similar tech.

First is a classic dual twinblades with Elenoire Poleblade and an Ice Spear Cold Godskin peeler (I am aware that Seppuku on peeler is unmatchable, but I like variety).

Second is a two handed Cross Naginata, still with Ice Spear and a backup poison mist misericorde for crits. In this case, my doubt is between cold affinity or keen + bloodflame, so to have a 4 status buildup (ice, fire, blood and poison).

For both I'd go for Flame get me Strenght and Golden Vow.

So, I have a main question (title) and a secondary one (keen + bloodflame vs cold on CN).

Than you all for helping me out. 🙏

Question Would a beast build “work”

Using things like beastial incantations, roar of rugalea, beast claw type weapons, among other things of that nature. I know anything can work but I’m just wondering how much of a struggle it’ll be?
Might also add on the crucible incantations because they are also kinda beastly
