That GI Blues one is way too tame. Not to say that it doesn’t sound good but it’s proof to the haters that when Elvis really wants to spice things up he can.

Another example being Let Yourself Go. It was originally a soundtrack song that has somewhat spicy lyrics but toned down for the movie but in 1968 for his TV special he turned up the spice. He really did have a gift to make any song sexified.

As it is Halloween time

In the Super Nintendo video game ClayFighter there is a character called Blue Suede Goo

An Elvis impersonator with wildly exaggerated features and he throws musical notes at his opponent and uses his hair as a blade

He also fights on the keys of a flaming piano with the words Big Hunk O' Burnin' Clay on it

If I have to choose, because they are both wonderful, I choose the original version of Blue Suede Shoes by Elvis as the best version

I like Elvis's original '56 studio version of Blue Suede Shoes but, my very favorite version of "Blue Suede Shoes" would be the version shown in the original TTWII movie from August 12, 1970 Midnight Show.
