It's not just Kid Rock
Snoop Dogg — performed at the CryptoBall, a Trump pre-inauguration event, in January 2025, despite previously criticizing artists who performed at Trump's 2017 inauguration.
50 Cent — shared a graphic criticizing Biden's tax plan in 2020 and briefly entertained supporting Trump, but later distanced himself from him.
Nicki Minaj — appeared at Turning Point USA's AmericaFest in December 2025 and praised Trump and JD Vance
Lot of people in his entourage. Seems like that line in the sand line was for fans but not his friends.

50 Cent is less pro trump and more anti-taxes. He likes his money in his pockets

u/Zack_410 3h ago
Yeah 50 just doesn't like giving money. He's never like endorsed Trump or anything.

Oh… so you don’t drive on public roads? You don’t drive in a car guaranteed safe by government regulation? You don’t live in a home up to government safety code? No plumbing and clean water ever drank in your life? You weren’t educated in a public school? I hope if you are ever attacked you don’t call the police. It’d be a shame if your house caught on fire without calling the fire department. Good luck making your own food since you don’t need FDA inspected produce.
You’re free to move to Africa and join some tribe with no government if you wish. Of course, if you get sick… don’t go running to a nonexistent hospital. Moron.

I'd be just fine with roads being paid for as they were prior to taxes paying for them. Even still, they take significantly more from me than necessary for roads.
I don't need the government to tell me what cars are safe. I prefer older cars, all of which would rate poorly.
I was not educated via public education.
If I'm attacked the police will only show up to take a report. I can defend myself just fine.
The FDA is incredibly inefficient and I buy local whenever possible.
The fire department is worthy of funding.
If you'd like to take some taxes for roads and the fire department, sure, I can agree to that. But that doesn't require me to give up 20+% of my paycheck, property tax, sales tax, and fuel tax. Both those things should be covered by just one of those.

“I was not educated via public education.” - it shows.
You didn’t get where you are on your own. Please feel free to join a tribe somewhere free from that darn inefficient government. There won’t be clean water or food or police services, but you’ll make it.
Good luck! We’ll miss you!

"I'd be just fine with roads being paid for as they were prior to taxes paying for them."
So, in other words, you'd like to pay a toll every time you drove onto a different section of the highway that's owned by another company?

u/Kuros_Of_Sindarin 2h ago
Tolls are fine and so are roads paid for by the business that need them to operate.
Again, paying for roads isn't the hill I'll die on. But I pay for wayyyyyy more in taxes than I receive in services. Any 1 source of taxes that I pay should be more than enough to cover my share of roads/fire/ basic policing. But no, let's keep feeding this machine, the same one that gives trump an ungodly amount of power over our lives. Let's keep paying so much money that the government can afford to put flock cameras everywhere so they can monitor everything we do. Let's keep giving them so much money that they can fund Israels war with the entire middle east. Yeah let's do that.

It’s almost as if a civilized society pools their resources together to serve the greater good?!!
Again, you are totally free to go it on your own bud. If you don’t think citizenship in one of the greatest economies in the world is worth it, then feel free to give it a shot somewhere else.
Entitled, privileged baby.

u/Kuros_Of_Sindarin 2h ago
It's almost as if we pay way more than we need in taxes. Thinking it's ok to over pay these corrupt agencies so much money because they give us half assed services in return is some real boot licking behavior. You sound like the perfect subject to live under a king. I hope you enjoy what trump has done to this country because this is only the beginning of what will happen when government gets this big and bloated.

u/SophestryIncluded 2h ago
If you want to talk about improving and strengthening government services. I’m down - let’s do it. But insisting that because government services aren’t perfect you shouldnt have to pay them is purposely short sighted, selfish, and stupid. Maybe you don’t need Medicare, but millions of people do. Maybe you don’t care about poor kids from Harlem not getting free education, but for many families, that’s the difference between life and death. We all sink or swim together. A rising tide lifts all boats.
Haha, You’re the one insisting that we let the free market save us. All hail our billionaire feudal lords! They’ll provide for us.
Selfish and dumb.

A prime example of what you’re saying is California having the highest gas taxes in the nation, which they tell us is for our roads, but then we have 47th worst roads/infrastructure in the U.S. It makes zero fucking sense. I take that back, it makes perfect sense when you realize they steal from us through taxes.
That being said, I think I’d be OK paying taxes if I got something of value in return, as you mentioned above. Instead, I pay insanely high taxes and they go toward bombing innocent brown children in third world countries… not towards roads, not toward healthcare, not toward much that benefits me. And the stuff that does benefit me is the absolute bare minimum. My wife and I are high earners and we pay A LOT. It’s absolutely disgusting.
So, yeah. I’m with you. The comment above about you not attending public school and the moron says “it shows” is hysterical. I attended private school as well. It taught me how to think critically — a trait that is seemingly absent these days

IF I DONT NEED THOSE SERVICES THAN NO ONE DOES! - you
We literally form governments to help the least of us, because a rising tide lifts all boats.
And what you’re saying about government spending being inefficient so we don’t need it is akin to throwing the baby out with the bath water. There’s no such thing as a perfect system when it comes to helping millions of citizens. You’re making the perfect the enemy of the good.

Exactly. I'd happily pay these taxes if they delivered even close to the value that the money should get in return. Too many people are ok with shoveling more money and giving more power/authority to this monstrosity we call a government. It's funny because half the problems that we have with trump are only possibly because we let the federal government get this big. Yet the moment they get who they want in office you'll see them give even more money/power to them with ZERO thought as to how that will come back to bite them in the ass.

u/ReignOfTerror02 3h ago
I dunno prolly. I think businesses do that on purpose tho for like reasons or smth

u/SchwiftaySauce 2h ago
No, he definitely did lol. It wasn’t his business either it was him as a person because he was in so much debt.
1
u/Spiffy_Legos 1h ago
Yea but when rich people go bankrupt it’s not that same as us going bankrupt. In reality his situation was more a reduction of debt. Which from what I remember he paid off a few years later it was like 30 million he owed. He wasn’t ever broke. He’s still worth 100s of millions of dollars to this day.

It sucks but a lot of entertainers across the board just do not give a fuck about anything but money. We are living live enough to see some of our heroes show their true colors. It sucks.

Yep. Snoop owed him a favor, for getting his homie a pardon so he could buy the record company (?).
Trump called it in, and now he's an Uncle Tom that was shuckin' and jivin' for the rich white folks.
He completely sold out and is saying some r wing shit.
Fuck Snoop.

"Seems like that line in the sand line was for fans but not his friends."
I love how the line in the sand, said in rap lyrics, is taken dead seriously, but all the "you want me to fix up lyrics while the prez gets his dick sucked" lines, calling the Dem President out for being the rapist that he is, is excused away as "thats only lyrics/satire/a punch line"
This sub, man...smh lol
Also, rule number fuckin 1 of this sup is literally:
1. No politics unless it's something directly mentioned in a song.

Snoop, 50 Cent and Nicki Minaj aren't Eminem's entourage.
Their political flip-flops don't really prove anything about him.
Em's entourage is moreso underground or lesser known, yet respected guys in the culture like Kxng Crooked, Royce da 5'9, Horshoe Gang, The Alchemist etc.
The actual criticism is that Eminem spent years telling Trump supporters to fuck off, but now he's collaborating with Kid Rock and basically saying politics shouldn't get between them. You can argue he was talking about fans, not friends, but that doesn't mean people can't criticize the double standard.
Also, politics isn't just some petty disagreement between celebrities. These policies have real consequences for working- class people, immigrants, Black people LGBTQ people etc. It's easy for millionaires to agree to disagree and go about their lives when they're not the ones bearing the consequences.
Nobody's saying Eminem can't be friends with Kid Rock. The more legitimate question is why he's helping frame their political differences as something that doesn't matter. You can separate personal relationships from politics without using your platform to downplay the consequences of someone's politics.

Snoop Dogg and Eminem have had a strained relationship for most of their careers. It seems like they buried the feud after Eminem got some shots off on Zeus from MTBMB side B. He then went on to collab with snoop on that NFT scam song. Snoop Dogg performed a 30 minute set at a trump ball, likely because he got a pardon for his buddy, but declined to vocally affiliate with either party in follow up interviews. All of the above is still pretty shitty.
50 cent is a selfish troll but has also since distanced himself from the Trump brand.
Nicki Minaj is kid rock level maga culty now but the last thing they did together was majesty in 2018 before she went full Trump dick sucker. Someone correct me if I’m wrong though
