Advice Help! Analysis paralysis. What is off?
I am so torn! Please help!
I liked brilliant round solitaires but wanted something more unique; like cushions but wanted more sparkle. As a result, I opted for a hearts and arrows cushion.
However, something feels off. Does anyone know what it is? Or does it look good and I’m overthinking?
Would love thoughts on the best among these options or creative ideas about the gem/band/etc! Adding other sizes in comments.
EDIT: I agree the ring is a tad too small and needs to be resized. Unfortunately rings can’t go lower on my finger.

Was that ring too small? That's the only thing I see that looks off. The ring is sitting too high up on your finger.

The only thing that looks off to me is that the ring is too small. It should slide down to the bottom of your finger. It shouldn't be seated up by the knuckle. Otherwise it's very pretty.

First off congrats!
I think it’s very pretty but to me it almost looks like it’s off center on the band. Idk if that’s the lighting but that’s what it looks like to me in the second photo

The ring looks really small and it’s unable to be worn how it’s supposed to which is all the way down your finger. Can you not push it further down? If not then it’s definitely too small
Edit: it also doesn’t look centered on the band to me

When you take it off is there an indention of where the ring was? Like can you tell there was a ring there?

A little. I think you are right that it is too small for sure, even if just for comfort reasons!

I wonder if a different cut would look better on your finger! Like others mentioned, it looks too close to your knuckles. I wonder if a pear would look better?

I think maybe it's a little big? Or ... This is an odd observation - is it too similar to the size/shape of your fingernails? Maybe an oval would be worth looking at? Or a trilion cut?

Did you request it off centered in anticipation of a wedding band balancing it?

What are the different carat sizes compared to the one in the body of the post?

It looks like AI from a website is beaming the ring onto your finger, or at least the diamond. Like you’re not wearing it in reality. Something about the brightness and dimensional quality of the diamond not matching the rest of your hand.

I think you should try an oblong cushion in portrait as I feel like the square makes your hand look shorter

Honestly I have no idea, this looks normal to me and nothing seems off (other than you not wearing the ring further down your finger). Maybe a close up video would allow us to see more? You might get some people saying stuff about the size but that's just people wanting to be all special and different preferring diamonds so tiny you can barely see them lmao.

It’s a beautiful diamond. To me, it (the diamond) looks too big for your finger.
As others have said, a ring is typically worn lower on the finger. Your ring is closer to your knuckle.
