A free template worth keeping is a decision log: date, decision, owner, assumptions, and the metric that would prove it wrong. It stops teams from relitigating old choices and makes failed experiments useful instead of just forgotten.

Free tool for anyone who sends work to clients: pindicate.com. Upload a file, send one link, and the client pins feedback on the exact spot. Works on video, audio, images, PDFs, websites, HTML files, Word docs, Google Docs and Slides, and emails. Free plan covers 3 active reviews. I built it, so tell me what's missing.

The most useful free thing I have is a plain cash flow sheet built in a spreadsheet. Columns for the week, money expected in, money already in, money out, and a running balance. I update it every Friday morning before anything else. It takes a few minutes and shows me whether I can cover payroll and rent without guessing. When I was running a small shop I used to check the bank balance and think I had more room than I did because deposits were pending and bills had not cleared. The running balance fixes that.

Another free habit is writing a short note after any customer says something about what they need. I keep a plain document and review it once a month. That has generated more useful work than anything I paid for.

Hey if possible can you share an empty template for the same sheet to keep a track of every client in a meaningful way.
