Barunka is in a weird spot where she really isnt used as counter/dmg build much anymore but everyone using her is going full tank since thats her real power is making single targets hit her in the face.

something like this (from hero journal, not mine) is more usable in this landscape, or just triple HP set if you dont have good prot sets.

she can still tag you through it, you need 100% er to deny someone who has 0% eff and a 100% chance to land a debuff

you would need 400% er to have a 0% chance to deny an rnl s2 from landing any debuffs if she has 300% eff, ER is a shit stat in general lol but it's required for these type of units to not get destroyed by random debuffs landing on them

Jumping off this for my clarity - this includes the 15% chance? Meaning - if I have 400 er and someone had 0 eff - can I still get 15 percented? Is the 15 some kind of hard floor/ceiling? (Depending on how you look at it). Because your comment is inspiring me to just build more er (which I know is good either way but I didn't realize I could properly deny it? Unless that's just the phrasing and the 15% is understood).

No, if you got 100% ER and they have 0% eff they will never land a debuff on you UNLESS they have ignore ER built in or via SB.

The opposite is true though, if you got 400% eff you can still hit a 15% and not land a debuff on someone with 0% ER

Oh it is good, ER Nulha is a real build. Just saying that for better results you want a bit more ER than that if you really want to commit to the bit, the better ones I've seen are nigh 280 ER in combat

I don't do rta often so in gw and arena this is entertaining. And when I did rta, i absolutely swept with my er nurse and got to like 1.6k-1.8k elo

Honestly I just bring bait for her (gras, lisette) because ER building has sorta always been a bad plan for some time unless you're running SC Christy with the team. Though I'm speaking on GW as I don't RTA super often unless a nice skin is the reward.

But yea, a large amount of free eff on a really strong debuffer is a pain

I have 2 barunkas, this is why I am building this one on counter MOAS. My main one is on pov 30k hp

Also the reason as to why I am asking alongside Miseria, for what I understand counter MOAS is better with her

Oh ok, so that does change things slightly then. Well the other older counter set barunkas are between 3-3.8k def with around 22k hp so I think you're fairly close on the threshhold needed to use her for that purpose. I love my miseria and her forcing counters from frontline is always nice. Just dont expect to facetank too much in this current landscape, and you might even consider bringing a 3rd knight that actually has mitigation like estelle plus a lisette or lady depending on if we're talking RTA here

Oh yeah, counter Barunka is great with Monarch. I also have 2 Barunkas and this pairing is solid. Just need to watch out for DCorv and Haru.

Also doesn’t work that well against RnL. Debuffs will go through and disable her.
